Don’t go here if you have a nut allergy! They use peanut oil in all their batter with no other alternatives. The worst part was we waited a while to sit. There was not one single sign about the peanut oil except a very small disclaimer in the back of the menu. I’m thankful we saw it. I could’ve had oatmeal or fruit-I do have other allergies and wouldn’t trust anything with cross-contamination. My crew left even after I offered to sit and have coffee as I didn’t want to ruin their meal. It was such a bummer-nothing listed on Facebook or the website. Do better-even a sign on the door would help! I’m worried about the next allergy sufferer who doesn’t read the small print on the menu.

The breakfast food is so good it's hard to make a choice. This week was banana pancakes and a side of bacon. They still have excellent thick bacon. The real plus was a small pitcher of a pineapple base syrup that was so good.

The food was great but our server, MaryAnn was extremely unpleasant and weird. She had an attitude problem.

If you like sweet treats for breakfast this is the place for you. The pancakes were good. Prepare to wait to be seated, we went on a Tuesday morning and had to wait a bit because this is a small restaurant and it seemed like many people sat and chatted even after they were done with their meal so it takes a while for tables to be available. Prices are standard for the area. Our waiter Mark was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

First the bad, it was freezing cold in the tiny booths and tables in the back near the women's room.
I got the eggs Michael's, poached eggs on top of sausage on an English muffin, served with potato pancakes. The sausage was particularly great. The poached eggs were nice as well.
She got the big apple. It was sweet, but filled with apples and cinnamon.... Really tasty.

Original House of pancakes have some of the best pancakes around. I go there just for their pancakes and they are consistently delicious. They have many other menu offerings as well. There may be a bit of a wait but I got lucky and it not waited 5 minutes upon my last visit.
