The food itself was acceptable, but in order to increase revenue during the Christmas season, they added extra tables in places that seriously affected the dining experience—right in front of the kitchen and the cashier counter.
I had to eat my meal while waitstaff constantly walked back and forth serving dishes and clearing plates, essentially dining while facing the backsides of the staff. The table was also directly facing the entrance, less than two meters away, with customers and servers going in and out nonstop. With the temperature at around two degrees Fahrenheit, it was extremely cold and very uncomfortable.
I will not be coming back. The experience was particularly poor.

Ambiance and food was excellent. Server was very pleasant. Buyer nut squash soup was delicious as was the truffle pasta for appetizers. Spicy rigatoni did not disappoint in the spice level
The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Customer service was outstanding. Bartender was very knowledgeable and humorous. This wasn't my first time but my first time sharing my experience. AR
Never disappoints always delicious. I wish there were one or two more vegetarian/vegan items.
On Frday November 7th, I attempted to celebrate my 65th birthday with my wife, son, daughter in law and grandaughters from out of town. There were 2 reservations made. The 5pm reservation was made as a walk in, and an updated reservation was called in, 10 minutes later for 6 pm. We arrived at 5:20 pm. The manager refused to accommodate us. There were several half a dozen vacancies plus, 2 more parties of cancellation of 6, which would have left more than enough room to accommodate our party of 6. It was a horribly, distractive experience. We left and went to Seasons 52 restaurant and they were able and willing to accommodate everyone's needs, with extraordinary experience.

Dinner was fabulous! Our server “Wendy” was fantastic! Can't wait to go back ! Also love seeing Kasha at the front desk!
Casa Pernoi delivers the full experience. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and top-tier service. Definitely one of the best dining experiences in Birmingham. I would absolutely return.
Nestled in Heart of Birmingham lies Casa Pernoi, a fantastic Italian restaurant that has such flavorful dishes. My favorite had to be the spicy Vodka pasta. The ambience and the cocktails were fantastic and so was the service.

Super weird disrespectful video from our waitress . Lacking eye contact , hitting my wife , and touching her arm . Won't ever come back and will not recommend .
Biggest issue: the place is much too noisy. It is just impossible to hear folks at your tab le unless they are sitting next to you. They know the problem, but have not done anything about it. PLUS with all that noise, they eally should never play music. That makes it worse.

Really great Italian homemade pasta like you would find in the county side of Italy, Rigatoni, bologna, meat balls, egg plant and fresh baked bread all great

We came in to rate their burgers as advertised during the month-long Birmingham competition. They were only available during the week for 2 hours per day, not advertised. We shifted and ordered other delicious items (more than doubling the price on my date, a little embarrassed), and when the sticker shock subsided, we had a great time. The ambiance was very nice, challenged by the interesting choice of loud, repetitive music, not usually characteristic of upscale Italian restaurants. No one would have minded if they offered classy but fun European music that matched the atmosphere and theme... and a little more in the background. Even on a Saturday evening.
Food was great but was delivered with a huge gap in time - 40 min between apps and entree. We loved the secluded outdoor space and wine selection. The veal parm was very dried out and kinda sad looking.

We sat outside on a marvelous fall evening, the staff brought over a heater that was a nice addition. The hand crafted breads were so delicious lovely choice of wines . We had the tasty gem salad, crispy chicken thighs, veal parmesean and of course Lucinanos bolognese. We shared everything and I can't say enough about the delicious flavors of everything. Thanks again !
Our meal was outstanding. A big thank you to Anthony. Our server for making our special night out even more special.
