Biggest issue: the place is much too noisy. It is just impossible to hear folks at your tab le unless they are sitting next to you. They know the problem, but have not done anything about it. PLUS with all that noise, they

We came in to rate their burgers as advertised during the month-long Birmingham competition. They were only available during the week for 2 hours per day, not advertised. We shifted and ordered other delicious items (more than doubling the price on my date, a little embarrassed), and when the sticker shock subsided, we had a great time. The ambiance was very nice, challenged by the interesting choice of loud, repetitive music, not usually characteristic of upscale Italian restaurants. No one would have minded if they offered classy but fun European music that matched the atmosphere and theme... and a little more in the background. Even on a Saturday evening.

We sat outside on a marvelous fall evening, the staff brought over a heater that was a nice addition. The hand crafted breads were so delicious lovely choice of wines . We had the tasty gem salad, crispy chicken thighs, veal parmesean and of course Lucinanos bolognese. We shared everything and I can't say enough about the delicious flavors of everything. Thanks again !

The food was pricey but very good and our waiter, Mitchell was very attentive, efficient and personable! We were celebrating our son's birthday and the atmosphere outside was very pleasant until towards the end when five young girls came in and were very noisy disrupting us and the people at the table next to us.
Food and ambiance was amazing. I prefer gluten free pasta and the server suggested I pass on that given that the freshly made pasta would be far more delicious. My partner and I will be returning on the regular. Oh and Andrew the bartender is a great guy.

Love this place and highly recommend, although a few items to note: the music on the patio is very loud and it is hard to talk over it. The server was kind enough to box up our leftovers however when she delivered them back to us they were not what we ordered. Of course I didn't realize this until the next day when I went to heat up my leftovers and saw I was given someone's else's leftovers instead! 😞

We've been to casa Pernoi many times, but this was the first time taking our 14 month old. The servers went above and beyond for us and him and it was an excellent experience.
