Friends & I came for lunch like we typically do. Food took a hour- manager came over and said because they were looking for ginger… & then when we got the bill she said she couldn’t adjust the bill because we ordered something not on menu… which was a Caesar salad adding salmon. Our server was great and accommodating however the manager was not a great problem solver and should have better etiquette with regular guests. The experience was not up to par like it typically is. I hope next time is much better.

I ordered the chopped salad. It's not chopped. It's a mixed greens salad. Not a HUGE deal or anything, but really? Why present it as something it's not? And there was apparently a fire, which means now there's a weird bar in the back of the space, and everyone who works there seems to be irritated and put out. Fun!

Had a one o'clock Mother's Day reservation and were not seated until after one thirty. Service was slow with no offer to reduce the bill.
I wanted to share my recent experience at Rugby Grille, as I was quite disappointed. I invited two friends to celebrate a birthday, and they drove over 40 minutes.
I made a reservation a month in advance, but once we arrived, we were seated in the hallway.
The service was lacking; the gentleman forgot to bring me a side plate and took quite some time to return. Meanwhile, I was left looking at the appetizers, one of which was mushroom bread that was more reminiscent of a sloppy cheese pizza. It had very few mushrooms and an overwhelming amount of arugula.
Later on, we ordered the halibut, but it arrived dry, accompanied by wild rice and sautéed spinach—honestly, I felt I could've whipped that up in about 15 minutes myself. We typically enjoy much better meals at home.
After leaving Rugby Grille, we decided to go elsewhere for desserts, which turned out to be fabulous. However, the overall dining experience was definitely underwhelming.
Don't expect too much from Rugby Grille, and go elsewhere for your special event.

On Set. 19, I brought my 96-yr-old mom here for a drink and hors d'oeuvres. I had sent a note on the online reservation form that we would appreciate a quiet table. The receptionist had knowledge of the request without my saying anything, and immediately showed me three locations she thought would suit. I wish I had gotten her name, for management to commend her. (We arrived at 5:15, which should help you know to whom I refer.) We sat in a booth, and our server, Usama, made our nearly 3-hr (!) visit truly joyful and perfect! Again, management - please take note. We agreed that he was the best waiter either of us have ever had - attentive, fun and funny, and going the extra mile in tailoring our drinks to our (sweet-tooth!) tastes, and making us feel welcome and special. This was likely my mom's final "fancy" outing, and I am so grateful to Usama for making it perfect. Kudos also to the chefs. Our 3 dishes were superb - beef tips, shrimp, hummus.

First time here. Outstanding experience. Atmosphere relaxing with live music on wednesday. Soothing. Service exceptional. Food yummy. Bass delicious and seafood fettuccini the same. French onion soup and blue cheese wedge salad and spinach salad delightful. Topped dinner off with the best Spanish coffee. Cheers to the bartender. Perfect! Pricey but worth the treat.

Overall, it was a great experience, but the menu could use a few changes. I ordered a Burrata salad and was served only half of the Burrata. This ruined the experience for me, as the joy of Burrata is in opening it and watching the cheese ooze out. Additionally, the arugula was a bit wilted. The menu could be more versatile, with more pasta options like Carbonara, mushroom truffle pasta, and Lemon lobster Risotto It would also be great to see more steak options, such as Wagyu and Kobe, and perhaps add caviar to the menu. While the food was generally good and the desserts were delicious, the crème brûlée could be creamier. Despite these issues, I love the restaurant and will return.
The overall experience was excellent. The server did a very good job. The food was very good and prepared as requested.
I went for breakfast this week with my uncle. We had Abigail as our server and she was fantastic! Avocado toast, lox, fruit salad were all super fresh and delicious. Coffee was excellent as usual. This is the very best place around for breakfast and lunch, in my opinion. The service is consistently top notch, the food is always fresh and amazingly prepared, and ambience is perfect whether is is for everyday dining, business meeting or special occasion. Thanks for another great experience!
Wasn't great, definitely not worth the price. We were initially seated in the area outside the restaurant and it was way too loud because of a party seated next to us. We asked to be moved and were given a table in the middle of the dining room area that had a bunch of occupied tables near us. Could have done a booth off to the side, or even the back room. And the food was good / not great, and it's priced to be great.
