Overall the vibe of this place is nice. It gives Birmingham its somewhat hipsterish but I liked it. I had the build your own skillet it was very tasty but not the best skillet I’ve ever had. I would most certainly come back.

Easily one of the best brunch restaurants in the Birmingham, MI area. As I write this I am chomping down on their famous Lox Plate which is salmon, eggs and sourdough toast, very healthy before a workout might I add. If they were to offer their breakfast menu throughout the week no other restaurant would compete…at least I

It was my friends and i first time ever coming and we came around 12:45 pm and it was not hard to find but there wasn’t much parking on the street, which was expected since it was a Wednesday afternoon. The ambiance was so cute, welcoming and cozy! Our server Melissa was wonderful! She was very informing, checked up on us frequently, communicative, and overall outstanding!I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was the most amazing thing i’ve ever had! It was savory and sweet but not overpowering one another and it had maple syrup underneath the waffle so it’ll soak up the syrup and it was the perfect amount of it with bits of bacon hidden under the chicken which topped it off for me.Would definitely come back and enjoy another brunch or have a nice dinner when it’s darker outside and more dimmed and warm feeling like!

Our recent visit to Social Restaurant in Berkham, Michigan, left us thoroughly impressed with both the food and the exceptional service. From start to finish, every dish we ordered was a delight to the senses. We indulged in a feast of flavorful delights, including the truffle fries, burrata toast, crab cakes, and broken lasagna bolognese. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail.Despite the chilly weather, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They kindly closed the tent's windows and turned on the heaters, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed or uncomfortable. As first-time visitors, we were delighted to discover such a gem during our trip to visit UWM. Social Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way, and we look forward to returning for another memorable dining experience.

We called to see if they offered a happy hour menu and if their rooftop was open because it was beautiful weather on (3/4/24). They said yes and when we arrived the host said we could take a seat on the roof and a server would be sent up soon. There were some people up there already and we took a seat. A server came up and told us immediately that the host was wrong and should have told us to order at the bar since the roof was just opened for the weather and the service bar was closed. That was an awkward and weird greeting and we offered to go back to the bar to order but she said no she could take the order. (Again, why say all that if she was going to take the order anyway?) then she told us to look the menu up on our phones when we asked for a menu instead of giving us paper menus. We couldn't find it and instead of going to grab paper menus for us she decided to go through my phone and google the menu herself. It was awkward and unnecessary...especially since she couldn't find it, and me and my friend were looking at each other waiting for her to give my phone back...we offered to get paper menus ourselves twice since we wanted them but she kept saying no. She finally remembered she could look it up on her tablet, and read it off to us...that was uncomfortable because we didn't have time to actually think about what we wanted and look at everything ourselves. We were being polite and understanding but she just seemed irritated and annoyed she had to serve us up there. And the guys next to us had paper menus. It's just strange. Seemed like a lack of staff communication and customer service. We felt like an inconvenience and her service was awkward and weird and honestly surprising.

Indulging in the culinary experience of roasted beets, creamy burrata, and delicate madeleines was truly a delight for the senses. The roasted beets offered a tender yet robust flavor, perfectly complemented by the creamy texture of the burrata. The addition of madeleines brought a delightful sweetness to the plate, balancing the savory notes of the dish. Each element harmonized effortlessly, creating a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. A truly memorable dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and delicious culinary adventure.

Absolutely wonderful! Every bite! The menu was diverse with offerings to almost every palette. Our server, Melissa, was top notch! And we loved the vibe of the place. The pricing was reasonable, especially in consideration of how good the food was. And I especially appreciate the diversity of the other diners. When you come into a restaurant and see various ethnicities, age groups, and images, you know you’ve found a welcoming restaurant.

Loved this place! So cute inside! Great service our server gave great recommendations on drinks I got the Violet and it was perfection. All my friends Drinks were delicious too. My whole table got the skillet and love that you got a paper to customize exactly how you wanted it. It was so good! Highly recommend this place

I am a person that checks out a food menu before selecting a restaurant to go eat at. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday and were super disappointed when our waitress notified us that they were out of a bunch of entrees. It's already a pretty small menu, so when we were told "No cheeseburger, no halibut, no clam chowder" that left us with like 2 other entrees to choose from. Also their online menu had a turkey burger, but it wasn't even on the menu, and that was what I wanted to order prior to getting there. My french fries came out cold (i'm talking, sitting out for at least 15 mins) and I had to ask for my dipping sauce twice. The atmosphere/decor was nice, although it was VERY loud on a Saturday night. The cocktails were really good but extremely expensive. Our waitress was good, and it wasn't her fault the kitchen stinks at anticipating inventory needs.Overall, I'd recommend going somewhere else for dinner in Birmingham.

The Food is good, but it's just that. Good. 18$ for a burger is absolutely insane. It's not -that- good.Update: The prices have gone up. 30$ for Chicken Meatballs, 22$ for a cheeseburger. Downgraded to one star. This is just robbery.
