I had a vanilla eclair. I probably waited about 7 minutes for the pastry to be handed to me from time of order with about 3 people ahead of me. So service was a little slow for a business area.
The pastry itself was cooked well, however, the custard filling was overwhipped and definately not sweet enough for a traditional eclair pastry.
The atmosphere however was very calming and relaxed. I would not say they impressed me with their food however, especially when paying $6 for a pastry. With that price it should be perfect.

Great place to try French pastries and great coffees. We tried chocolate croissant in the evening but it was nice flaky and exact amount of sweetness not overly sweet. Matcha latte was great just add a syrup if you like it sweet.Tiramisu also tasted very traditional. Quiet place to visit with max of 5 people. It is charming and cozy bakery.

This new bakery is a gem in the heart of Birmingham! I had a chocolate croissant and it was delicious……light, airy and fresh. All the pastry looked amazing. Everything is served with a smile and kindness. Can’t wait to go back a try something else.

I recently visited St. Roger Abbey and had the cappuccino with oat milk since I’m sensitive to regular milk and it was absolutely delicious The flavor was rich and unique truly different from any other place I’ve tried. I also tried the Canelés de Bordeaux and the Very Mix and Broccoli Dill Pastry both were absolutely amazing The canelés had the perfect texture and flavor, and the savory pastry was so fresh and full of delicious, wholesome ingredients. You can truly feel that everything is made with love and care. Just sitting in this café brings a sense of peace and comfort. The service was excellent, and the Sisters were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting this special place it’s not just a café it’s an experience! 🙏💛
