Turned Away on My Daughter’s Birthday
I wish I could leave a review about the food, but unfortunately, we never got the chance to try it. We arrived at 4:30 PM on a Thursday, excited to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with her favorite—sushi. Instead, we were turned away simply because we had children with us. We were told we would be “too noisy,” which was both surprising and disappointing, especially as our children are well-behaved and used to dining out.

It was incredibly disheartening to have our dinner plans derailed this way, particularly on such a special occasion. I truly hope this isn’t how other families are treated, because it definitely left a lasting impression.

Ordered udon noodles with chicken and veg. It lacked chicken and veg’s and ordered hot and sour soup. Very very little veg’s and chicken. And a very small amount of rice for $14.95
And the hot and sour soup was a very small container for $6.90
You can get a better meal at McDonald’s!!!! Should have asked the front desk at the Dayton hotel. I would pay maybe $8.00 for the whole thing. Walk a little further down the street to cony island where they give you good portions!!!

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in town! I've been going for several years and had zero issues. Always reliable with taste, food quality, and serving which should be what all restaurants be focusing!

Very rude customer service. We will NEVER be going here again.

Rude staff. I ordered off Grub Hub 35 minutes before walking to their location on my lunch break to pick up my food. When I got there I saw stickers on their storefront that they accept and fulfill Grub Hub orders, and the woman at the counter shooed me away and said that they don’t do Grub Hub. Didn’t even ask if I’d like to place a new order or ask how else she could help. Just asked me to leave. Guess I’m not eating lunch today! Thanks!

This is a winning spot in downtown Birmingham, the food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the menu is deep - I’ve gotten sushi and General Tao’s Chicken in the same order and enjoyed each just as much as the other. Will definitely return here - 5 star food and service.

Haven’t been there for a while, the service was very slow and the atmosphere was very sad and impolite, felt like being attacked there tonight. Will never go again.

Nastiest sushi I’ve had in my life, and I eat sushi often. Didn’t taste fresh and the rice wasn’t sushi rice, my sushi was falling apart because of the low quality rice.
