I had the pleasure of discovering this charming café today: it was truly delightful! From the moment that I walked in, Madeline's kind hospitality made me feel right at home. Not only did she kindly offer to warm up my croissant, but she also went the extra mile to check that it was heated to the right temperature—perfection! Speaking of perfection, the pistachio croissant was simply divine. Paired with a heavenly chai latte that boasted just the right amount of spice, it was a match made in culinary heaven. Plus, the seamless access to reliable Wi-Fi made it the ideal spot for catching up on work or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation. With ample seating and the perfect ambiance, the café struck the perfect balance of cozy, yet vibrant. Parking was easy and convenient. Needless to say, I'm already planning my next visit to experience this slice of café paradise again.Dietary restrictions: There were alternative milks for all diets.

The service was great, and there was no wait. I chose this because of the shrimp I saw in the photos, but that wasn't an offering of the day. I assume they change their selection.l daily. My daughter had the raspberry tea and salmon sandwich which she really enjoyed. I had the pesto panini with hot tea. I would say the food was good, not extraordinary, but better than average. The prices were average. The two employees were very kind and cheerful. It's a small cafe, but a great lunch spot for two people or when eating alone.

I’m trying to stick with small, local coffee shops and when visiting Birmingham, Svenska popped into my search. I loved this little Sweedish coffee shop! My latte was delicious! I loved the pastries here! It was hard to chose, so I bought my three! The cardamom cake was perfection! Even if the coffee wasn’t so delicious, which it IS, I would come back for this little cake!!

One the first coffee shops we visited, and have been going there ever since. Not fancy or hipster, but consistently good coffee, bites and service, location, and parking. A very relaxed "Scandi" atmosphere. Support this local small business!

Delightful owner/employee. The chicken curry sandwich was fantastic & the cardamom treat was delish. We will definitely be back, loved the cozy “euro-village” atmosphere.

I was a bit disappointed to see that a lot of the food is pre-made in a cooler but it was still delicious. I had a half salmon sandwich, shrimp sandwich, and coffee. The sandwiches had a great balance of flavor and texture and the coffee was flavorful without being bitter. Staff was friendly and eager to make sure I was satisfied.Unrelated to the restaurant, Google maps had me turn into the parking lot directly in front of the Cafe which is very tight if you have anything more than a compact car. There's a lot right next to the place though that is more spacious.

I love going here even if it's a bit out of the way and there's minimal parking. The people running it are nice, menu is small but manageable for the small size of the cafe, and has enough of a variety

Ordered a Viking plate on door dash.. it's presented in the picture like a sprawling feast with multiple meatballs.. i received about 6 total ounces of food... What little was there was tasty... But it shows like six or seven meatballs..i received one meatball cut in slivers.. not enough food for a child..The daim cake is a 15 out of 10 but I'm not ordering food there again.. A disappointment.

Cozy and delicious! Great lavender mocha, and comfortable seating areas. Lunch offerings look super tasty as well.

Came in with hubby for a coffee to go and the very nice lady said the coffee is on house because it is Father’s Day today. What a warm morning! We bought a little pastry. Cute a little shop with plenty parking in front the store.

Cute little cafe with comfy chairs and homey decor. Outside bistro seating, pastries and espresso drinks. Worth stopping in!Parking: Small parking lot in front of the cafe and more parking available in the adjacent lot.

Tasty brown sugar latte and bite size cardamom cakes but sadly this place didn't have much personality or customer service! I was disappointed in the food offerings and their presentation in the case and the lack of friendly demeanor but maybe that's because I brought my toddler ? and although she barely made a peep, the looks and attitude made it clear this isn't a kid friendly place. It's small inside , very eclectic, with minimal 2 person tables so don't plan to meet a group or stay too long unless it's nice out and they have 4 person tables on the sidewalk. There is easy parking though!

This is the cutest little deli/coffee shop! Love meeting my friends here for a quick chat and relax. Everything i've tried here is good. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Try their pastries (it's a must). Thanks Judy for our refill...

Perfect spot to grab a cappuccino for a conversation or to crank out some work on a laptop. The owner or their employee was so friendly and accommodating. Parking was also much easier than spots over on "main street."
