I haven’t ordered Sy Thai in a while because the last time I ordered I was disappointed. But my daughters really wanted it today so we ordered. We all got the same thing Pad Thai with chicken … I’m not exaggerating there is barely any chicken in any of them … we’ve had to dig around to find some … not exaggerating there are 5 bite size pieces of chicken in here.
I’ll never spend another dollar there again. I’ll be ordering from somewhere else for now on.
I get it, and have resolved to the fact that getting quality and/or good service these days is rare. So I’m pretty easy going about things but this is just ridiculous.
I do not recommend any Thai if you’re looking for a good Thai meal.

Ok by way of background, I worked in Bangkok and Chix Pad Thai was my favorite do I'm always looking to find best here near me in Troy. Sadly the Hamilton Row Sy Thai failed miserably - no authentic taste, no hint of the essential tamarind paste. Slightly better was Bangkok Bistro, Orchid Cafe much better and the best, surprisingly, was the mostly carryout Flaming Thai. If you're near Dearborn, Bangkok 96 is the best
