We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Tallulah last evening. Our servers, Chelsea and Paris, were super friendly and attentive, and our meals (scallops and a filet)were delicious. Just a delightful evening!

Food and service were excellent. Trey, our waiter, was superb and even needed his skills as a bouncer to remove some guy who came in off the street yelling at several patrons.

This is our second visit to Tallulah's . Very nice location. Locale is on the smaller side and that is why noise can become a bit too much (tables very close to each other so you hear everything the other people say). How was the food? Burrata - too cold ( was not brought to room temp before service started)and as such not runny and creamy at all. Focaccia slice a bit too small for the size of burrata but avo spread was very tasty. Cesar salad - very good, and great presentation by leaving the romaine leaves whole! Salmon and chicken for mains. Now, those dishes were great! The spinach pesto is absolutely delicious. Again, the color of the salmon ( cooked to absolute perfection!!!!!) against the spinach pesto made for a very nice presentation. And now service: we were very well taken for, our server (Mike)was attentive, not overbearing at all but always there at the right time. We chose a wine that unfortunately was off once the bottle was opened. The sommelier ( Brandon) quickly came to the table and offered suggestions of what else we could enjoy with our meal. Second bottle we chose turned out to be a great choice. All in all, we had a pleasant dinner and wholeheartedly can encourage others to try it!

This place is consistently outstanding and one of the best places to eat in Birmingham. We will be back soon for sure.

Food and service were amazing. The ONLY complaint is that tables were packed together, making it tough to sit down or exit tables easily, let alone make your way back from the bathroom.

Service was excellent from start to finish. Appetizers were tasty, however, both my husband and I were disappointed with our main entrees. My New York strip steak looked perfectly medium on the inside, but the searing on the outside made it tough to cut into and it could've used more steak seasoning. My husband's lamb shank and mashed potatoes looked scrumptious, but was disappointingly bland according to him. But again, I will reiterate that service was excellent, so I will stick to a four star rating.

We had a wonderful experience at Tallulah. Our server, Gabrielle was attentive, friendly and helpful and she made sure our dinner arrived as ordered, which doesn't always happen. We loved the Village Salad and the Beet Salad, both very fresh and bursting with flavor. The Carpaccio was also delicious. The pork chop was prepared exactly as requested as was the Branzino. We are looking forward to our next visit.

It's always an amazing experience at Tallulah. They take great care of you, and the food is top-notch. Anytime we go there and the owner, Mario, sees us, you would think we are his best patrons.

Food and service were very good. It's been a neighborhood stalwart or years. Always nice to go back for a good meal and fine wine.
