On our latest visit (January 2026), we had an early dinner - try the crispy chicken sandwich (served on a croissant) with kale tobouli. We had a window table and enjoyed the wintery Birmingham streetscape while we dined and drank.. They still have an impressively stocked bar with knowledgeable, personable barkeeps. This was my first time at this establishment. We chose to make a stop here yesterday on NYE on our way to other dinner reservations. Thinking we could get a quick bite and a drink before our night but very let down when the tacos we ordered took way longer than they should have. We waited a total of 45 minutes for the food and the server and manager were very apologetic. Knowing that this wasn't their fault we were very appreciative, but I feel the kitchen needs some help. We were the only table in there and felt that this was a bit ridiculous that the kitchen couldn't get the food out in a timely manor. Needles to say we wont be back and this wont be one of our recommendations to our friends and family.

I went here 4 years ago when I worked in Birmingham. I went back today with my Aunt on Christmas Eve and it couldn't have been better. Steak Frittes was amazing and service to match. Definitely be back!!

Looking for a night cap on the way back to our hotel. An hour before last call, my friends and I were sat, given drink menus and water. The server approached us and said he would not serve us because we appeared over served(he didn’t tell us, I had to guess that was why). Two couples having a nice night celebrating a 20th anniversary. No one stumbling, slurring or being loud. We had no problem getting served at two other establishments close by after this. Maybe they thought we would keep them after closing? I have years in alcohol service to understand the rules surrounding cutting people off. I understand it is the servers prerogative, it’s just a crappy way to make sure you don’t get a late table.

Management and staff are uneducated on what the laws of videotaping from a sidewalk are One of their employees even come out threatening a disabled man on a scooter on the public sidewalk then stood in the windows flipping birds at citizens on the sidewalk. There's a video on the internet it will live forever of the angry black employee coming out on the sidewalk attacking an elderly older gentleman on a scooter other employees happen to pull him back. Even better there is almost 10 minutes of video of the kitchen staff cooking touching doors touching people drinking drinks in the kitchen nobody has got gloves on in their kitchen not one person. Linda kitchen staff started making fun of the disabled man having one arm how can anybody with a disability patronize this place

Iconic Avocado Toast, puts the rest to SHAME!! We are right across the street from this gem and no only is the food always supurb, the staff is always on point and they run our food to us at no charge if we need them to. The truffle fries and a cheeseburger are my fave guilty pleasures.

Charcuterie board has no cohesiveness. Too much sauce, not enough chips, not enough cheese. What meat? What cheese? Please, a little Brie and fig jam goes a long way. With some adequate chips of course. Service so good food is good. so underwhelming :,( BUT bartender server is nice and personable. Environment is fun and friendly

Had brunch here and it was amazing! The service was super fast, the atmosphere calm and relaxing, and the food was delicious. Their lemonades were so refreshing and unique — definitely worth trying.
