On Sunday March 24th, 2024, at approximately 9:20 PM I arrived at your townhouse Birmingham location. I was greeted by the bartender who informed me that your policy was not to accommodate large parties. We agreed that it was OK to split up our party of 10 however they saw fit. We did not need to be seated together. Reluctantly she agreed to seat a party of six at 1 booth and a party of four at another. We were trying to understand the problem seeing that the restaurant was practically empty. There was only one table occupied in the entire restaurant. She went and got the manager Rico. It was at that point that we were greeted with the worst case of racism, classism and sexism I've ever experienced in my life. He repeatedly refused to seat us no matter how we were split up. He went on a small rant saying, "that's the problem with people they come in here walking around treating this place like it's their living room". We were appalled and confused. He treated us with so much disrespect that I felt like I was transported back to the 1960s. After a lengthy conversation we left the restaurant. It was a very traumatic experience. I would like to resolve this issue privately and for it not to escalate. I have video footage from the night. I encourage you to pull your video as well. The bartender tried to apologize for Rico's behavior. Please contact me back to resolve this by the end of this week.

The service is great. I only had cocktails at the bar, but I love that you can take your beverages into the lobby and enjoy that space as well.

Ordered the roast chicken it was soooo dry and so small. It cost $36! They forgot two items and all of th food was very expensive. This was a delivery order.

My Townhouse Birmingham was positive overall. The manager, very friendly, went out of their way to make my friend's birthday special. Although the drinks were great, they were expensive, and the food, while pretty good, took longer than usual to arrive. The smash burger was yummy, and the truffle fries were also good. Despite a friendly server, they seemed understaffed, resulting in a lot to manage.

I came here for brunch on a Sunday and there was no wait time. Although they did not have a vast array of food options, it was very good and a great alternative to busier restaurants in the area!

The smash burger is THE BEST burger I have ever had. It was so juice and full of flavor and cheesy goodness. Truffle fries were great too.The food cane out fast and hot.Service was great also. Parking isn't great so choose your time to go wisely since it is only meter parking in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is not wheel chair accessible.

Dry salmon on mush. Not how it was described on the menu, obviously. Bland cocktail. Meh.

Stopped in with a friend from out of town for an early dinner and were promptly seated. The food was great as was the service from Alexandra and the restaurant GM, Hunter. Try the Private Jet or one of Hunter's custom cocktails.

This place is the best. I’ve been coming here for years and it never fails. The food, drinks, and especially the service are exceptional. Alexandra is the best server/bartender you could ask for!!

Horrible experience as a regular customer: This restaurant is about 5 minutes from our house and we either dine in or take out for lunch or dinner at least a few times a month. I love the power salad, the truffle fries and the burger is pretty great too. Dining in is usually ok, but often something we ordered is incorrect or it takes a while to order. Carry out is always the worst. When you walk in to get your food you are treated like a burden and often made to wait extended periods of time for your food. This past Monday, I ordered carry out and went in to see if it was ready and pay. I was ignored by the host and the bartender and flagged down a server who told me to wait. I was told the food wasn’t ready but paid. It’s a cramped restaurant so I asked if I could wait outside. When I went out, I saw a bag of food with my name on it and my order. I mentioned to the host (man in a suit), that was my food and he asked me to pay inside before taking it. I let him know that I did pay already. He looked at me skeptically and asked “really? You paid?” I said again that I had paid. Then another server confirmed that they had seen me inside. He repeated again “are you sure you paid for this?” And I replied again yes, I paid. When he still wouldn’t give me my food I pulled out the receipt and showed it to him saying “here is proof”. Then he finally gave me the food. No apologies for accusing me of stealing or making me wait. This is just disgusting as I am a regular customer and often ignore the issues of missing food or incorrect or cold orders, but now I’m done. In fact, I am still awaiting a refund for an order I picked up last week that was missing a meal. When I got home, the fries were cold and my husband’s burger was too rare and grisly. They really need to hire better staff and treat all customers equally because the food alone isn’t good enough to have to go through this. My husband woke up later that night sick to his stomach. Because of food poisoning he had to take an entire day off from work.

My $15 cup of chili came out cold! This place sells mediocre food at New York City prices.
