I’m very disappointed in the “new” Whistle Stop food. I’ve eaten there 3 times recently. Today, the Grilled Turkey Salad. It is described as lettuce, spinach, turkey, onions. I asked for light cheese. The salad was loaded with cheese. All the spinach was buried at the bottom of the bowl. I could barely find the “minced” turkey. I was expecting nice slices. For breakfast one day the cappachino has no flavor. They put ice cold avocado on the avocado toast which is topped with a nice warm poached egg. And, the prices! My husband and I paid $50 for breakfast. The place is so darn cute but the food is not what it used to be.

I love to stop in here for a quick lunch between meetings. Great food, service and friendly staff! It’s no wonder the line is out the door for breakfast on the weekends, and worth it!

Small little dinner with really good food and service. There is not a lot of seating and place is usually busy.

Please don't interpret 4 stars as bad. I took the family there the other day and was very happy. The service was friendly and fast. The fresh modern farmhouse atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. I gave it four stars because the food was straight forward and good. For example, the pancakes were tasty, yet not punctuated with something that gives it that extra kick, like buttermilk. That's not a bad thing. Comparing price and quality, I was happy. To counter this, they offer an array of condiments and sauces at the table to craft your own experience. Great job! I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer.Parking: Parking was easy and not hard to find.

One of my favorite breakfast places when I’m in the area. Service is always prompt and friendly. I love the western omelette with the multigrain bread and strawberry jelly.

Been coming here for 20 years - love the renovation and reinvigoration!! Had to wait for a table which made me happy - I love when a place is busy!

First time here, won't be my last! Great food and you can sit right at the bar, which is perfect. The toast and jam was outstanding in particular.

Stopped in here today at 2:45pm when the hours posted say closes at 3pm. Was turned away saying that the kitchen closes at 2:45pm. This makes absolutely no sense. If your kitchen closes before your business hours, something needs to be changed! Maybe you should change your hours to 2:30pm and this would actually make sense.

I am a fan of the old-school whistle stop.I’m not gonna lie there’s been mixed reviews; both published online and via word-of-mouth and therefore I’ve been hesitant to try. But I decided to give it a go today. The atmosphere was nice and clean and bright. The waitress was nice, but slow. It wasn’t very busy. It took her a long time to come back and get our order and it was very little follow through. OK whatever.I ordered eggs and toast. Literally my jaw dropped when they brought me to toast. I took pictures. You can see the fork and the butter pat for size reference. Another waitress or runner or somebody came over and I’m like seriously look at this piece of toast and she looked at it and she said well they do use the entire loaf of bread. And I’m thinking you charged this amount of money for toast and you give me an end?It didn’t occur to them to maybe give me a small piece and a normal size piece? I don’t want the scraps. If you are going to serve scraps, don’t charge for it.She did bring me one more piece of toast to offset these overly toasted burnt scraps.Meh.
