2941 Street Food - Bloomfield Hills

I’ve passed this restaurant many times over years and finally decided to stop. This is a bowl that starts with a base of either rice or wheat. The server talked me into half and half. Then there is a meat dish, either chicken, steak, or lamb. I chose lamb, which is very good but costs extra. Then a sauce is applied and I chose tandoori and garlic but there were numerous options. Next vegetables; mine were mixed but there were other options as well. Next a salad of some type and mine as a tzatziki cucumber salad but other choices were available. At some point I added hummus to go with a large piece of fresh bread. The cost was higher than I expected of about $20 for the bowl. I think the lamb added $2.50 or so. The food was very good and I will probably go back sometime but get a smaller bowl and not lamb, although it is very good.

Food is so overpriced.. they seem worse then chipotle with the portions.. 25 bucks for a bowl and a bottle of water with extra chicken and It didn't feel like I got extra chicken at all so disappointed such a waste of money and overall it just didn't even taste good. pita way seemed way better and more reasonable to me. Won't be back here

Earlier this sunday evening was my latest visit and also was a plesant one thnx to the young lady that made me a delicious stuffed lamb sammach precisley 2 my liking😋

Fantastic food! Love all the unique combinations to choose from, but if you want it to be easy you can just pick one of the Chef's dinners. Reasonable prices, food is super flavorful. The mini bowl fills me up! Really great place!

This is one of my favorite Mediterranean places to dine. Being vegan and a falafel head. That bowl with your selections is always a plus. That black bean hummus is a must. 🥂

Will update to 5 stars when you bring back the Paprika Vinaigrette

I have eaten here several times and normally it's great with the exception of today (Friday 6/6 around 1PM). The lady I dealt with was awful. The bowl was put together sloppy and the lady upcharged me on everything and told me only after she put everything in the bowl. I will specifically avoid this place on Fridays when this person works, but will continue to come the rest of the time.

I should note that normally my experience is pretty good.
