Abode Fine Dining

11/11/2025 We had a small special dinner party planned out with Mike Eckles of Abode. We had to work around our guests’ likes and dislikes. He could not have been more helpful in planning the menu. Chef Aletha made the evening wonderful. They bring everything and leave the house in great condition. Nothing but praise for the delicious food (fish based, but not salmon), the presentation and her flexibility to make it a perfect evening. Her presence added to a wonderful dinner.

I have used Abode for every dinner party I’ve ever hosted. From private in home dinners for close friends and family, to my family reunions and all celebrations. All the chefs and servers have wonderful and enthusiastic personalities. From Chef Mikes extensive food knowledge. Chef Marcus’s skill set and execution, and all the way to Chef Christina and her to die for deserts. They have accommodated all of my allergy requests and religious restrictions to perfection. They have handled my smallest parties from 4 people all the way to my 150 person graduation. I truly believe that you couldn’t do it any better than Abode. There is no doubt in my mind you will never find a better group and better food.

Abode-first experienced their superb catering at a small dinner party-Chef Michael was superb—just hired them for a 40 person breakfast—Chef Christina and Isaac could not have done a better job—delicious breakfast –frittata-waffles-fruit-croissants-potatoes all delicious. The high attention to detail and passion for using and showcasing high quality ingredients is unmatched. We have now hired Abode Fine Dining for two 30-person dinners, and the intentionality of the menu and nods to Detroit culture are top notch. I could not recommend this team more to cater whatever kind of dining experience you can think of. We will hire Abode Fine Dining over and over again!

We had the best experience booking Adobe for our dinner party. From beginning to end the entire experience was incredible. Mike was quick to respond to our initial request along with any other questions we had. He was able to make modifications to the menu for us and the wine pairing was perfection. We did the 5 course meal and each one was outstanding. Our guests were talking about this for days afterwards! They set the table for us including silverware and glassware. The presentation of each course was insta worthy. We cannot wait to use them for our next event and can’t say enough great things!
