Best sandwiches i have ever had in my life. I stopped there to get a quick bite with my husband and they did NOT disappoint. I got the special which was pastrami, corn beef, slaw, jalapeños, onion, tomato, russian and honey mustard on a O roll. Best sandwich by far!!!!!

I ordered a BLT no mayonnaise with light mustard carryout so when I got back to my job site and found that I had double mayonnaise all over my sandwich I was very unhappy I spent $18 fot BLT that wasn't right it's not a hard job if you pay attention

Clean deli with a big selection of soups and sandwiches. Also a big selection of desserts. Sandwich was HUGE for the price and the home made soup (split pea) tastes awesome. Hospitality of the owner is 5 stars.

Nice little deli. Emphasis on little. I assume most of their business is carry-out. Service is friendly, as-if-they-know-you level of friendly. Rare, indeed. Everything sounded great. I eventually ordered the #2, the Dinty Moore. I was told it was a favorite of Al Kaline & his wife. It was a tasty sandwich, for certain. I do have a major complaint, however. It concerns the construction of the sandwich. All the meat is balled up in the middle. There was none anywhere near any of the corners. With tomatoes, lettuce, dressing & cheese greasing it all up and providing no traction, that is a recipe for disaster. I ended up with most of the ingredients in or on my hand. And all the meat was gone while half of the sandwich was yet to be eaten! I was truly amazed I didn't wear any of this slippery, delicious mess. The sandwich is a bit pricey, $16.50. Add a Faygo & tax and my lunch bill was over $22. Glad I didn't get chips, too.

The sandwiches from here….might change lives. Lou!! How is the lettuce crisp?!! Everything in the sandwich was super fresh and great quality. I was full the whole day. I appreciate how Lou was very welcoming and hospital. He has a great passion for this place and serving customers!!!!! I will definitely be a regular.

Visited for the first time today. It was as great an experience as the other reviews suggested. Good sandwich selection! I got the #11 Tigers Stadium Club (yes, basic) on 8-grain. My sandwich came with a generous amount of turkey and the lightly toasted 8-grain was super tasty. Service was kind and speedy. They treat everyone like family even if it’s your first time. Will definitely come back again!

What a surprise! We pulled off the road and blindly stopped. We order the special, the Joe Louis and a some slaw. Wow! A sandwich was enough to split depending on your hunger. It was worth every penny!
