Opted to sit at the bar which was half full with guests. Though not full, service was slow and less than the usual attentive we are used to. Appetizer was very good, ribeye while flavorful and cooled correctly was extremely heavy on the fat side (I am aware the fat gives the cut flavor and this is my go to option, however, it was quite a bit fattier than usual). The sides were atrocious. The tempura green beans had an overly bitter taste to them (so bad in fact we sent them back), opted to get the Mac n' cheese which tasted good but the noodles were mush and beyond overcooked. This is one of our families favorite restaurants and last night was disappointing to say the least.
Beautiful restaurant. The appetizers were great. Salads mediocre. Wagyu tomohawk was excellent, the porterhouse not so much. It was cut from the chuck end and had a line of gristle running through the loin side. There were multiple flights going on in the kitchen that were clearly heard in the dining room. The chef it management did not deal with it at all and it was very disturbing. Ryan our server was great!
We wanted to park our own car. At 6:20pm there were no more self park spaces. So we had to pay $10 and have someone else drive our car. We were immediately seated in the lounge at a nice table. The server came over asked about drinks. We ordered soft drinks which seemed like a mistake since he was also the bartender. He was busy serving wine to the other patrons. He then asked if we were ready to order. We did not see the special for Wed. night that was on their website. We asked to give us a minute.. We decided not to ge the special. He did not come back for over 20 minutes. I was pleasant and funny and told him they should give us a flag for the table to signal we were ready to order. He put me in my place by stating and pointing that he is responsible for a other tables and the bar. My Ceasar salad was dressing with lettuce. Way too rich. My Ahi was very good and a large portion. My husband enjoyed his fillet. It will be awhile before we return. Every other table was ordering wine etc and we knew that we were considered not the perfect guest that did not order side of lobster, wine etc.
Honestly one of the best experiences we have ever had at a restaurant- we were celebrating our sons 27th birthday. They were over the top incredible. Food was amazing. Servers were great- like wow great! We felt extremely blessed! We will definitely be back!!
The hostess (Emily), the server (Justice), the food, the ambience was excellent. From start to finish, the dining experience was absolutely amazing. Thank you all for such a positive and memorable dining experience. We will definitely dine recommend Eddie Merlot to others and frequent this restaurant ourselves.
Eddie Merlot has had some staff and management changes going on, but we always have an excellent experience! Lindsay is an exceptional server, providing personal, caring and efficient service! The staff is always cautious and sensitive to my food allergies. We had a wonderful evening!
The service was very off - our food came out cold & the presentation was terrible, the manager did comp us the cold items, but it was definitely off par. Won't be going back again.
What a great experience. We had never been there and we had an awesome dinner. The food was incredible and they made it very special for my partner's birthday
Overall the experience was fair, my shrimp cocktail wasn't cleaned properly, was able to eat 2 out of the 4. The bison filet was cooked correctly at medium temp. The service was great, the waitress Ashleigh was amazing and the drinks were good.
Only thing bad was I was given pork on my oyster whoch luckily I only ate one but the chef explained they gave the wrong plate and brought the correct one. I didn't get overly sick from the one but I definitely felt it.

Excellent service and excellent food. Very nice and appropriate music playing in the background which made for a great ambience to an evening out with family. Will definitely keep coming back.
Ribeye to die for, shrimp amazing. I would skip the lobster potatoes and summer street corn (although I think that came off the menu today). Too much fat based and instead of feeling delightful, I felt heavy. My fault, should have stuck with fresh salad. Service was nice.
Most of my dinner was too bland for my taste. I had Roasted garlic mashed potatoes with lobster and there was no garlic. The street corn had very little flavor. The crab cakes were a little mushy. The filet mignom were not good. They did not have the grilled Roman salad which I had last time and it was excellent. The King crab & corn bisque was excellent!
Food was great, staff went as far as to leave rose pedals and a birthday card for my wife, as well as cake!
I was celebrating my birthday. I love this restaurant been here numerous times. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
