Had a nice business dinner with colleagues. Mike was our server and it was not the JM standard. Ordered a bottle of champagne and wine along with appetizers. Oysters were outstanding! The were east coast and sweet; absolutely amazing paired with champagne. Entrees were hot and delicious. We had lobster, salmon, lamb chop and filet. Vegetable sides were wonderful and paired nicely with our meals. We certainly enjoy JM and frequent the establishment. See you again soon.

In addition to the food, the service was excellent. Considering the quality of the food, the cost of our meal was very reasonable. Best brunch I've been to in years and can't wait to go back!

Appreciate the attempt at fine dining-God knows Detroit & the subs need it- but not sure if this experience was worth the $$$ ...

Amazing dishes as always. Andrew was an outstanding server. Joe Vicari is the very best restaurant operator in town.

We ordered the Dover sole. It was supposed to be prepared with brown butter sauce. It came with clarified butter. We were disappointed. The ceasar salad was skimpy with the dressing. We had outstanding service. It was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. That's a rarity these days

Delicious Easter Buffett, so many choices, can't beat the seafood selection! Service was first class. This is our third Easter Brunch at Joe Muer's, and it won't be our last!

We usually dine at JM downtown Detroit. This was our first time in Bloomfield. Brunch was underwhelming. There was a nice variety, but the salmon, sea bass and prime rib were not seasoned at all. The eggs also tasted over-done. Everything else was ok. Also, our server was a “loud-talker”. She yelled, “Are you ready to see the damages?”, as she brought our bill to the table. She also stopped checking on us towards the end of our time there. I couldn't ask for a cup of tea until she brought the bill (which was the first time we had seen her in a while. If I do return to this location, I will request to not be seated in her section.

Nice restaurant but overpriced. The lobster was spot on fresh and had plenty of meat in the claws and body. The Sea Bas was fresh and good but very small, you'll get half the amount for twice the price without sides included. The side dishes left a lot to be desired and in my experience not worth the overpriced value. The coleslaw was stated a creamy but its was dry and had a seasoning in it that just didn't fit. The side dishes where very large, enough for two people.. A coleslaw was larger than my Sea Bass which I though was funny but sad. The brussel sprouts where also dry, not a lot of flavor and a bit on the hard crunchy side. The staff was very nice and the service as quick or slow as you needed or appropriate for you dinner style.

Josh Ridgley was absolutely amazing. From the first hello to the saying goodbye he was top notch. The food was amazing and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Superb seafood. Superb service. One of the best seafood restaurants we have been to across the country. Now that we have moved to the area, this is our go to restaurant for special occasions. We are only able to go here in the past during our once a year visits.

Great experience. Very nice high class interior. Service was excellent, always being asked instead of having to ask.

We wish there were more places like this around this area. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all excellent. You find plenty of places like this in Chicago and the like but very rare around here.

I do not know if they do anything with active noise control but it was also night to find a place that was busy but not near ear bleeding loud as most restaurants tend to be these days.

Great wine list and a very varied menu. We mostly go to a single place for a single dish but there are plenty we'd want to go back and try.

They were accommodating to a food allergy and had some of the best gluten free rolls we have ever had.
