Moose Preserve Bar & Grill

This place was so cool! It reminded me of my favorite childhood restaurant in my hometown. It's built like a cabin and has a wilderness attire. The menu has a wide variety of food, including burgers, sandwiches, Mac n cheese, and trout. I tried wagyu beef for the first time in my life and it was probably the best cheeseburger I had ever had in my life! The Cowboy Mac was amazing as well, which had BBQ pulled pork on it. We will definitely be back!

The Burrata is new to me on the menu. It was delicious! Paired with fresh berries /pineapple and honey drizzle; Love!
Overall menu is smaller- bring back the nacho!

Good. Restaurant was so popular that it took us over one hour to get a table, for a week day lunch.

One of my favorite places for dinner. Great service. Good size portions. The buffalo burger is great.

Moose Preserve is our favorite overall Michigan restaurant. It's really the perfect go-to restaurant for our family.

Moose Preserve has the most distinct and relaxing dining room in the area. The restaurant is part cabin, part arctic lodge, and part retro modern cool hangout space. I don't know how to describe it. That's the best I can do with it.

Food is made from scratch, creative and portions are large. The menu offers a gamey, kind of nice Mountain West cuisine, with some interesting specials. Kids love the space. The ambient soundtrack is fun. Who picks the music and decor? Probably the life of the party.

Service is great. We leave with leftovers. Outdoor dining space in the back is beautiful. Whoever conceived of this space, menu, concept, etc... great job!

Unfortunately, our last visit predicated the night manager changing the movie we were watching to a non-local sports game that was "mandated by the owners". The patio crowd lost interest in the TV and we were certainly ready to leave sooner than later following Joel's rebuttal of our objections.

Hosted a social group dinner here last night. Great atmospher, friendly staff & management who know what they're doing. The food and service were wonderful which really adds to an event's enjoyability. The portions were good or generous; the buffalo meatloaf got great reviews as did the seafood, pastas and everything else. Was happy to see that the Chocolate chip cookies were as awesome as always. We plan to return again soon for another dinner.

We have been going to the Moose Preserve for many years and absolutely love the place. Last night was the first time I was really disappointed with my meal. I ordered the blackened perch salad. The fish on the salad was not recognizable. It appeared to have a dark glaze on one side and the backside looked to be uncooked (white). We sat at the bar and the bartender was swamped so I decided not to complain to her. Please go back to whatever your source of perch was in the past because I couldn’t eat what was served last night.

I order a 75 southchicken sandwich after having a bite I noticed the bun is stale. On inspection I could see mould on the bread. The waiter just took the plate away and said he would take it off the bill. I am shocked to see how can someone put unsafe food on the plate and say I will take it off the bill. He started justifying “its just a small patch of mould its normal to have mould on food, cheese is mould” and so on. I ordered a bloody moose drink, it was just tomato puree i could not taste, smell or feel any alcohol in there. I was told literally half of the glass is filled with vodka instead of fixing it. Highly unprofessional staff. I would never come back.
