A special THANK YOU to Makayla and her coworkers for making my mom’s 82nd birthday dinner spectacular.

The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The ambiance and vibe is classy without being stiff, loose and Midwestern soulful. So warm and welcoming.

We ended the meal with the absolute finest apple cobbler on this planet. I never imagined a cobbler could be sublime, but it’s the best word for it. It will startle your senses and mesmerize your tastebuds. Compliments to the chef and the team in this kitchen. Y’all are absolutely savage.

And thank you again, Makayla, for being such a wonderful guide on our culinary journey to honor my Momma. We truly appreciated your kindness, grace and professionalism.

This restaurant is a great example of restaurant excellence from top to bottom. Thank you all for preserving such a jewel in the crown of Oakland County and the State of Michigan. 🫡

Hidden Gem! Greeted warmly, wait staff is beyond courteous! I had the chicken Cesar it was very good! The entrees are surprisingly inexpensive. The atmosphere was comfortable. I’ll be going back again soon!!

I ❤️ this place. The food is always fabulous, the staff friendly - especially the bar staff who always take care of our needs!

Roadside B&G has good food. No complaints there, but the atmosphere feels a bit dated. It seems geared more toward an older crowd. Still, solid for a quiet meal.

We had my mother's 86th birthday party in the back room and everything was fantastic! As always the food was great and the staff was incredible.

Great short rib tacos! Didn't care for sliders on happy hour menu.....they weren't like the typical slider...too thick and lacked the grilled onions

First time here tonight & my sister & I ordered two blackened shrimp taco bowls for $22 each. The shrimp was ok but the bowls themselves were some of the worst I’ve ever had. 90% wilted chopped up iceberg lettuce and almost no salsa or black beans and quinoa. Guacamole tasted like it was squeezed out of a tube from Kroger. Dressing was also bland. Even the few measly tortilla strips they sprinkled on top were stale. Disappointed we couldn’t eat these they were so bad ?

It wasn’t our first time there. We were all excited to come back but the service was off putting this time. I know you can’t expect “friendly service” everywhere these days but don’t make it seem like it’s a problem to ask about the menu. I know how it is to be a server, but if you’re having a bad day it must stay at the door.

Roadside B&G has been a favorite for a number of years. The food is excellent featuring daily Seafood specials, and a straightforward menu offering variety. They gladly adjust your entree to accommodate your appetite. Everything on the menu is delicious. The bartenders know how to mix a drink, and they don't water it down like some restaurants. The wait staff are professional and friendly. This is a Bill Robert's restaurant, which is known for high quality and high standards. Casual dining offered inside and outside patio. Get there early or make a reservation to get a table.

Can be a little noisy but easy to get past with food and service. Highly recommend their private event space.

Six of us went here (4 adults) for my daughter's birthday. The building is nondescript from the outside. The inside is dark, but inviting with a bar area, a seating area, and an outdoor covered patio, which is where we sat. The hostess was smart to put us off to one corner as our two grandchildren were quite rambunctious and loud!
The outdoor seating area was warm, but fans kept the air moving and kept it comfortable. The road noise was high at times due to the closeness of Telegraph Rd. and some loud exhausts.
Chris, our waiter, was great the entire time - quickly attended to us and always being around when we needed him. Our orders and bill were accurate. He repeatedly came by to make sure we didn't have any issues and offered to make good on any issue (we had none).
We ordered several appetizers (mini tacos, Brussel sprouts, and smashed guacamole), which were all good, tasty, and nice helpings.
For dinner, I had the ribs (good, but dry).
Overall, we had a great meal and enjoyed our time.
