While the food was good and the atmosphere pleasant. For some reason, the waitress bugged the hell out of me. She kept interrupting us a too many times. Maybe it was my off day. Maybe it was her. But I prefer waiters and waitresses that approach our table, and wait for our attention, without interrupting us in mid-conversation.
Everything was good, don't get me wrong, but two things: 1) Was not gourmet, and not expected to be; 2) A d needs better acoustical treatment and partial barriers between dinning boothes, as there was way too much reverberation to speak across the table to my dinning partners w/o strain or yelling. There were acoustical absorbent panels, but may not be enough clean ones, depth or density to aborn those frequencies bouncing off of smooth hard surfaces. But, then again, some...
Long wait but probably because outdoor seating was closed. The meatloaf was great but my Whitefish was tough. They substituted it for Rainbow Trout with new sides which was much better.
