BC Lanes & The Venue Sports Bar and Grill

This place has really changed over the last few years. They are now more concerned with collecting a few more pennies from the few tourists that visit this establishment than the regulars who visit on a regular basis. Sad but we will not be back.

Friendly staff, clean place. Friday fish fry very tasty.

Great time bowling. The price was a bit high for a bowling alley in northern Michigan. Plus the fountain drinks were not free refills. Not mad, just surprised. Not bad, but not great.

They have bowling and lazer tag and good dining area went for work Christmas get together

Good Friday fish fry. Also enjoy the breakfast buffet on the weekend. Good entertainment place.

2pm Saturday. Perfect service. Great prices. Lanes in good shape. Pro shop open. Old school touches everywhere. Excellent bar. 90s tunes, not too loud. Icing on top: comet pinball from 1985 in good working order.

What a great place to take the family to bowl. Super cute area with a restaurant/bar right behind the bowling lanes, also they have laser tag!

Terrible! We came up north hoping to have some fun with my family in Boyne City for the weekend, and we are bowlers, so why not! Bowling alley broke down every 4-5 balls thrown and after the fifth shut down, asked to change lanes. Nope! We were told to stay put, they could fix it. After the 12th shut down and no maintenance guy came (I assume he was as fed up as we were), we gave up and decided to call it night - couldn't even finish the game. Manager (I am assuming - but first time I seen all night), denied any compensation - blaming us as the bowlers. Even accused us of 'not knowing how a bowling alley worked". I sure do, but where we come from, the owners are not rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to their customers when their equipment doesn't work properly, wasting a whole lot of everyone's time.

Save yourself the frustration and go some where that has working lanes!
The waitress was really nice though and worked super hard since she was only one they had working in the bowling area.

Unprofessional, rude manager. Bowling lanes that don't work and when ask to switch lanes, told no. Waitress was super nice though! So there is that.

The waitstaff at this place is very poor. Had to wait 10/14 min for a drink. Once we did get our drinks we never even got a paper menu so we could order dinner.

The staff and the owner were off the kindness meter, and went above and beyond creating a memorable moment... THANK YOU
