BC Lanes & The Venue Sports Bar and Grill

Terrible! We came up north hoping to have some fun with my family in Boyne City for the weekend, and we are bowlers, so why not! Bowling alley broke down every 4-5 balls thrown and after the fifth shut down, asked to change lanes. Nope! We were told to stay put, they could fix it. After the 12th shut down and no maintenance guy came (I assume he was as fed up as we were), we gave up and decided to call it night - couldn't even finish the game. Manager (I am assuming - but first time I seen all night), denied any compensation - blaming us as the bowlers. Even accused us of 'not knowing how a bowling alley worked". I sure do, but where we come from, the owners are not rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to their customers when their equipment doesn't work properly, wasting a whole lot of everyone's time.

Save yourself the frustration and go some where that has working lanes!
The waitress was really nice though and worked super hard since she was only one they had working in the bowling area.

The waitstaff at this place is very poor. Had to wait 10/14 min for a drink. Once we did get our drinks we never even got a paper menu so we could order dinner.

The staff and the owner were off the kindness meter, and went above and beyond creating a memorable moment... THANK YOU

We had an available time slot while vacationing in Michigan and stopped here before it even opened for the day. The guy running it was AMAZING. In fact, everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Kay!The place was SPOTLESS. You can tell it is very well taken care of even though it is an older building.They give you free popcorn which was such a nice touch.We enjoyed a few drinks and ordered the paremsan bread bites and they were #chefskiss. I would go back just for those!Overall, we loved every minute of our time bowling. Thank you all for great management, service and approach!

We had a group of 7 people.to paly 3 games. We had soda, 3 orders of half lb wings, a couple burgers and tenders. Paid over 300.00 for the total. They changed us for 3 1 lb orders which was double for the wings. Charged for refill? Wow, considering the cost of each drink this seems ridiculous. The wings were super dry and overcooked the burgers were small and the tenders were cold. Bowling was good but it's the game and not the service. Mentioning the service, so so so bad. We felt pressured to leave. Paid our bill and left dumbfounded

Family oriented place with amazing staff and a fun atmosphere

Had my company's Family Christmas party here. Had a great time.

It was bad and I mean bad they did something to my food I was watching the girls behind the counter laughing as I'm picking at my food and in a chef I know. And make sure you keep and eye on your game they cut are game short I think they thought we were drinking and we wouldn't notice they did that plez pay attention

Saturday night, not terribly busy but didn't have a waitress come to our table once. Lots of workers standing behind the bar or shoe rack area. Not doing much work. Has been much better in previous visits.At least five visible employees.

Quite possibly the worst fish n chips I've ever had and I've had alot of fish n chips in my day!

First time playing laser tag & it was awesome. Employees were very nice & helpful
