I want to say the service is fantastic and then I want to note the changes in the last year have been absolutely horrid. first off starting with charging for chips and dip and then I pick up the menu and I have to turn and turn and turn and flip and turn and turn and turn to see the whole thing, whoever designed that menu obviously has never looked at a menu a day in their lives. then I ordered birria I didn't know it was a build my own tacos if I had known that I would have ordered...read full review
We visit Boyne City every summer and I always like to dine at Red Mesa at least one time while we are in town. This year something seemed quite different than it the past. Food and service were just average and they stopped with the free chips and salsa. Not sure what happened to the menu, but the variety of options are not nearly as good as they used to be. The place seemed deserted on a Thursday evening and now I know why............
The experience was less the mediocre. We dined on 8/14/24 for dinner. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was poor. Lack of smiles from staff, no music, no fun. The food lacked much if the Mexican flavors you should expect. Personally, I had the three taco diner. A chicken, beef, and pork. The beef was as standard as you can get.
