This visit was disappointing; the Wego beef and shrimp special was over cooked, tough and dry. It was hard to cut with a knife. Our server was slow but pleasant.

Beginning of reservation was excellent. The food was exceptional. But after receiving our entree, we did not have our waitress come back to our table to check on us until it was time to get our check. She was nice enough to get us a dessert menu when we asked. But we declined dessert, got our check paid and left. Undecided to if we would return again.

The food and atmosphere is excellent! Our service was horrible! It took over an hour to get our food. We had to ask somebody to check on it our waitress disappeared and I do believe that they forgot about us. The waitress apologized and the restaurant offered us a free dessert but when we got the bill, they charged us for the dessert! We didn't even want a dessert and now we were paying for it. They ended up giving us a gift certificate for a free dessert Next time we come, but I felt like that is just a way to get us to come back! It was disappointing because we have always loved this place and we were taking new friends there, but it was not impressive.

The food is some of the best around. Service is always excellent. The views sitting outside over looking the marina are beautiful.
We love this place. The view of Lake Charlevoix is spectacular. The vibe is “yacht-clubby” in a good way. The sweet young servers are working hard. We opted for inside. It was the Heat Dome evening, and 90° weather was unappealing. BUT their AC was down. Ugh. The server brought the wrong salad, so one of our diners had to wait...and wait...and wait. Wrong entree came next. Battered and fried shrimp instead of shrimp cocktail. It was mine, and I opted to just do it. It wasn't worth the hassle. We'll go back. But we have guests from KY coming this week and we'll go somewhere else.

This place is a must if you are in the Boyne area. They were able to accommodate 13 of us with a reservation. We were able to sit outside and the weather was fantastic. The service was also spot on, and our food came in a timely fashion. We tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed all of it!
