The food was utterly delicious.

Horrible place, awful food for ridiculous prices. Rooms were disgusting. I made my reservations 4 months in advance. I booked a king-size bed, ended up with 2 queens, had asked for the top floor when making reservations, and got the 1st floor. And the clock tower is 2 floors, not sure how they call it a towerNOT wheelchair friendly

The view is spectacular and the service was friendly and nice, but our meals were horrible. The halibut chicken and veal Marsala were all terrible. We would go back but only for cocktails and the view

The beach house is such a lovely venue, being on Deer Lake. The restaurant inside is very nice and quiet. A party of six can converse easily. Service was great. The sandwiches leave a little to be desired. The club blt and chicken sandwich were dry, dry, dry. They don't have tartar sauce for their fish entrees. Dinner is hit and miss. Sometimes excellent, other times, not so much. We try to frequent the Beach House, as we live in the Boyne resort. Wish they were more consistent with their preparation of the food.

Great restaurant with nice view of the lake. I had the Lake Perch entree for dinner and it was delicious. Also had the Cannoli for dessert and it was the best I've ever had. Service was good, and would eat there again on our next vacation.

As a condo owner nearby, I love the location of Beach House at Deer Lake. The server was friendly and helpful. When I ask about fish, I always want to know where it is sourced from. The waiter went and asked for me. I appreciate that. And the chef knows how to cook it correctly. Another plus. Fresh Walleye doesn't get any better. The accoutrements with the fish were a medley of squash lightly steamed. Very delicious. And my friend has some farro with a vegetable relish. Also, tastefully prepared and yummy. We sat outside and can see Deer Lake and sunsets, here, are stunning. Great ambience. And in Thursday evening, Steve August tinkles the ivories with an eclectic array of virtuosity spanning the composers of France: Debussy to America, with jazz.

Family went to visit during the 4th of July holiday and ordered some food to go to eat on the lake and enjoy the views. The food was delicious and portions were good. If you are in this neck of the woods, I'd highly recommend dining here.

Beach House was awesome! We enjoyed an outside patio lunch with delicious food, fabulous view and great service! We enjoyed the beach while there on two separate times.

Enjoyed a meal out on the patio while taking in the deer lake views. Nice lake for kids to enjoy they can go out in the water quite a bit and it is still just to a 5 foot adults knee caps. Kayak rental. If you don't want to set in the sand they have a nice lawn to sit on. The lawn is like a golf course. Try the shrimp scampi!! Amazing!!

The Beach House outdoor dining area is the top location in Northern Michigan for enjoying lunch or dinner outdoors. Great view of Deer Lake and lush landscaping. Zak is a great server. The rack of lamb was tasty.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner here last night. We were super excited that it had dried out a bit from the rain and we could enjoy the spectacular view outside. Jessika our waitress was very attentive and helpful.

The service was awesome, and the building with the view of the lake was beautiful. However, someone needs to teach the kitchen how to season and prepare meals. Not worth the money at all.

The food quality was excellent. Everything was very fresh. The morel mushroom appetizer was delicious. Prices were as to be expected at a resort area. Due to the facility hosting a large banquet at the same time, the staff were stretched thin. All of the staff were kind and attentive, but it was obvious that a little additional help would have made the service even better.

We went to the morel dinner and wine pairing at the Beach house. $95.00 per person. The food was excellent, execution very poor. food was ice cold at both early and late seatings. You cannot charge this amount for cold food. Complaints were overwhelming. Something here has to change. I have been at weddings with many more people and food was hot. No excuse for cold food. , not for this price!! I would have rather have waited an hour and enjoyed my wine versus rushing to get all the food out at once and having it cold. I know this event could be better. Very disappointed and I’m not the only one. !! Cold food complaints were everywhere. Even at the bar when we walked in. This is inexcusable !!Wheelchair accessibility: None
