We were so disappointed in our stay this past weekend at the Clock Tower in Boyne Mountain Resort. Beside the rooms being very outdated there is no elevator in the clock tower! We had to lug out suitcases up 2 stairways to get to out room. We had 2 elderly people in our party. Having said that the beds were clean and comfortable. My biggest issue was 2 of us forgot our robes and we wanted to go in the outdoor hot tub and pool at the clock tower. I stopped by the front desk at The Grand Lodge to talk to front desk. Mind you, this is where we checked in for the Clock Tower. I explained the situation to the front desk clerk and asked her if we could possibly get two robes and a few extra towels. She was very pleasant and said absolutely, I will have them delivered to your room. We waited about a half hour and sure enough someone knocked on the door and gave us a bag full of what we thought was towels and robes after checking the bag we realized there were no robes inside. I got the girl's attention and asked her about it and she said she would bring them back. We waited a significant amount of time but no one ever came back. Finally, I called the front desk and spoke with Thaddeus. This is where my service rating way down. Thaddeus told me that robes were not given to guests in the Clock Tower. I explained to him that the front desk clerk who I had previously spoken with said that we could have a couple robes to. That didn't make any difference to him. He was not going to make any exceptions he did not care if I was unhappy and honestly it was upsetting. I later found out that he was in fact an assistant manager

The rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is tiny. Toilet sear was very old and dirty

I was quite a bit disappointed in our food. The kids salmon & hamburger was overcooked. Generally everything our large party ordered (food & drinks) was so-so. We were expecting quite a different experience from one of the sit-down restaurants offered at Boyne. In talking with others afterwards, they had a similar rating.

We had such a great experience at Stein Eriksen's that we ate there two nights in a row. To start, the decor is Alpine, a perfect fit overlooking the slopes. Scott, the host, greeted us so warmly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Its team members like this that create an experience that is memorable! They were absolutely booked on the holiday weekend, but service was seamless. Mark and Tim were both attentive servers and knew the menu well. The Alpine inspired menu was delicious and fitting for the setting.

Rooms are a little dated. But convenient location with large heated outdoor pool and hot tub with good views of the hills/slopes.

Walkability: Everything you need or want is within walking distance. Short walks to it all.

Food and drinks: Handful of bars/restaurants right there within walking distance!

We absolutely love dining at Stein Eriksons while at Boyne Mountain. The staff and manager are so accommodating. The food is excellent!!it's great for large groups and for kids. I highly recommend the fondue experiences.

Literally sickening. Everything was made wrong and even when it came out after being remade, we were too grossed out to continue to even eat it. We left hungry. Waited 2 hours for our food. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

When the dining room is nearly empty, no one should have to wait 45 minutes for their dinner to be served— but certainly if someone waited that long, which we did, the meal should be served hot. Ours was not. Four of us had the short ribs. Even the mashed potatoes were cold. It takes a long time for mashed potatoes to get cold.

I recently visited Boyne Mountain Resort and went to Stein for dinner as it was includded as part of our guided snowshoeing tour.

overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was attentive and the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was inviting, with beautiful Mountain View’s and skie views.

The food options was buffet but not vegetarian or vegan friendly. the prices were a bit high, particularly for ok drinks. Secondly, some of the dishes lacked bold flavors and seasonings.

Value - expensive for alcoholic drinks
Ambiance - it’s great, you can actually hear your date
Service - excellent
Taste - ok
Overall - one and done

This restaurant is closed despite the fact we were able to make reservations and the brochure from the resort listed live music there that night. The staff there at the bar were nice and redirected us to another restaurant.

We had a table of 8 but we're still served and on our way in about an hour and 15 mins. The food was excellent and plentiful.
