Red head behind bar is the most rude lady ive met in a very long time worst service and even worst attuide. Will never retirn and will never advise anybody to go! Poor customer service with a crap smerk to go with it

So I drive past the whiskey inn twice a day, six days a week and have always wanted to stop.I am a truck driver so I cannot stop because I have a semi.Truck I live east of g******, so it is about a 45 minute drive. I went online, looked you up. Looked at the menu sent my son to the restaurant to get takeout. So we could eat your food while watching the Lions game. They refused to sell me 90% of what is on your menu? Because evidently, you have a separate takeout menu, which did not appear in the Google search The person Working There became very combative and nasty when I asked for an explanation. I asked a simple question. What is the difference? If you cook a slab of ribs which are precooked, by the way, put them on a plate for a customer sitting in the restaurant or putting them in a box to hand to a person standing at the counter, there is 0 difference. I asked to speak to a manager and was denied that opportunity. It will take a lot on your part for me to ever attempt to try your restaurant again.And I will tell every person I know and in gailard, I know a lot of people to never come to your establishment unless this is somehow made right shame on you. And the only reason I gave you one star is because zero stars is not available. Again shame on you.

45 minutes to this place to get some barbecue for the game and they refused to order to go for half their menu absolute Tom foolery that they don’t offer that service makes no sense at all The lady that was running the joint was also very rude
You can sit inside or cocktail and meal on the small porch area. We chose inside and service was personal and great--considering she was tending bar herself.

Best place for smoked meat/bbq and they have the best nachos. We also appreciate that it is kid friendly and we don’t have to stress about the kids being a little noisy here. This is our go-to family spot for dinner year round!
We were in the area visiting family. Stopped in for dinner. This has become one of our favorite places. The food was amazing and the service was great. We look forward to coming back here anytime we are in the area.

Immediately coming in, the server made us feel like it was a drag and an inconvenience for us to be there. Not personable or friendly whatsoever (of course until the bill came lol) and the review of a server being moody there was most likely about the same one. Food was mediocre at best. For the area- it makes sense, but probably should have gone to any other place near there. For a $75 meal for two people, you would think the meats wouldn’t be dry and tough, and the atmosphere would be more welcoming.
