We got the new pizza to-go. A cross between traditional pizza and square Deep-Dish. It was awesome. A nice change in the Brighton Area. Keep up the good work...

Okay, can we please stop the pizza hype for Shamrock Lounge? They must have hired a good PR firm to drum up some "chatter" over the last week with news articles and Facebook posts all touting their "best in the city" Detroit-style pizza. I have to say, respectfully, this is simply not true. We stopped by tonight to see if they could live up to the hype and I can say their pizza is okay but far from great. I would call it on par with Jets and this may be generous. Best pizza in the Brighton goes to Captain's on Main and it isn't even close. Mancino's, Rollin' Stone, Guidos, and more would all rank higher than Shamrock. Again, not bad but let's be realistic folks.

Ordered pizza, hand cut fries, and beers. Food was delicious and atmosphere was what I expected. A locals watering hole where everyone knows each other and treats you like family. We will definitely go back. Next time we will try dart boards and juke box.

First time we was acouple months ago service was great ,food was great and service great, came back and service sucked they were more worried about going out to smoke and play on their phones, and joke around had to go up and order our own food and drinks waited an hour for food, tried to go up and get another drink bar staff couldn't be bothered, they were rude, didn't even clean off the table next to us until couple came in and couldn't sit down, I've been in buyer bars and had better service, girls didn't want to leave the bar, very disappointed, don't believe we will be back sorry to say

My girlfriend and I are HUGE pizza fans, we are always watching David Portnoy pizza reviews. We especially love Detroit style. Our favorite Detroit style pizza has been Nikki’s in downtown Detroit with Jets being our favorite chain Detroit style. We drive by Shamrock everyday to and from work. The sign out front said best pizza in town. So we decided to give it a shot!We got the 4 corner Detroit style with just pepperoni. I just asked my girlfriend as I’m writing this if she thought it was the best Detroit style pizza we have had and she quickly said yes and I would agree. Don’t let the neighborhood bar feel fool you. The crunch, ingredients and cook on the pizza is amazing! It only takes about 10min to come out once ordered. Definitely a place I would travel an hour to just for the pizza!

This is a divey, locals bar in Brighton. The crowd is a mix of working class young and old. The drinks are cheap. Service depends on what bartender is working. I went to Wednesday night karaoke with Phil. They didn't have several of the songs that I wanted to sing, but it was still a lot of fun.
