About Greecian Island Restaurant

Greecian Island Restaurant is a centrally located eatery that serves fresh and delicious food, featuring a lengthy and varied menu. While some dishes, like the mozzarella sticks, are exceptional, others, like the grilled chicken Greek salad, have received mixed reviews. The salad, although large, was mostly iceberg lettuce and not very traditional, but the grilled chicken was praised for its flavor. The service is generally great, with friendly and courteous wait staff who seem to enjoy their work. The restaurant is clean and cheery, making it a good spot to meet with family and friends. Recently, it has been tastefully remodeled, enhancing the dining experience. However, wheelchair accessibility may be limited due to a small step up to the sidewalk. During peak lunchtime, the restaurant can get busy and a bit noisy, but many find it worth it for the delicious and nicely presented food, like the Philly steak and gyro lamb, which have been highly recommended.

Nice little Coney Island with a good food, friendly service and prices that aren't pretentious. I had a coffee, 2 eggs, 2 slices of ham, toast and a nice serving of hash browns cooked crispy. Can't beat that for under $14.00

I'm a long time Greek restaurant fan. I have a favorite in East Detroit but this place is tying for first now. The only thing they need to be outstanding is made in-house pitas!

Greek salad was great, but hopefully they make their own dressing. The content of the salad itself was perfect.

The gyro was a wee undersized for not coming with any sides, but still good for a lunch portion with fresh tatziki sauce. The flavor was awesome.
