Great place to spend a Saturday night. I ordered the special, Red Snapper with shrimp and crayfish etouffee, it was amazing. Drinks were very well made, especially the Old Fashioned. Looking forward to next time.

After waiting over half an hour at another restaurant who would not honor our reservation The Canopy came to the rescue. Food was great, drinks were reasonable and service even though they were busy was phenomenal. It's off the beaten path but it was worth it.
Celebration of my husband's birthday and the staff was super attentive and spent a lot of time talking to all of their guests. They have a lot of Brighton history throughout yet have created a modern comfortable environment that has places to gather from sofas by the fireplaces, to tables and large bar. The menu has options for both the adventurous diner and those who have basic taste. Charles, John, Bailey and Bill thanks so much for giving us a night to remember!!!❤️❤️

Had the wild mushroom soup, spot on as it was light but earthy. I also had the steak tips, perfection.

Ribeye steak special… very very poor quality steak.. was paper thin and over cooked.. party of 4. Food took way way way too long… then Everything was room temperature except for the grilled chicken on top of the Mac and cheese my son ordered. It was obvious that the grilled chicken was forgotten, the everyone’s food had to sit on a warming plate while the made the grilled chicken… including the salad which came out lookingLike it had literally been cooked!!! If the cook screws up an order.. fine.. tell us and redo all the food so that everyone’s meal isn’t ruined. I’d be ok with that. But the ribeye steak still was the worst quality meat I’ve had in a restaurant.

I hosted a work dinner for a group of 30 people. We did a great buffet! The food was fantastic and the service was superior! The Canopy offers a great space to host a party.
Love this place….Bill, Charles, Kate and Dwight are the best! Menu is always great too.

Rated 4 stars only because some food was mediocre. We ordered a lot!! To many fancy sauces on some things. Ceasars salad was excellent, shrimp and scallops was smothered in a less than desirable sauce, skip the deviled eggs they were 1 star in my opinion. Venison chili/soup was great! Next time would only have Ceasars and venison chili.

Went with friends and we were very disappointed, we heard this place was good. All of our dishes weren’t what we exspected, wish I would of taken pictures.Three of us ordered Pepsi’s and we all agreed it tasted funny, they stepped up and didn’t charge us for them. For appetizers we ordered the Fried Calamari which was cooked perfectly, very tender. The Crab & Artichoke Dip was mostly cream cheese or filling and had very little crab and artichoke if any, tasted bland mostly cream cheese. Served with three small slices of bread and three crackers, not enough to go with the dip. Was good but they give you very little to share with friends.Ordered the Toasted Zucchini Cups which could of had more coat cheese, it was half of a dime size. Had to much pesto and Balsamic Vinegaret Glaze, scraped half of it off. Angry Chicken Sandwich was dry, the chicken was cheap processed frozen chicken that was thin, slice of tomato was thicker than the piece of chicken but unfortunately it was no where near ripe. Our friends ordered the Grilled Shrimp & Scallops and Spaghetti. There was only three tiny scallops and three tiny shrimp, was a bit over cooked and with a little bit of couscous, which was not worth the money. Spaghetti had three meatballs that were all burnt charcoal on one side and spicy pockets so you can tell it wasn’t mixed up well. The spaghetti was $26 which is ridiculous for a dish that’s so cheap to prepare and the flavor wasn’t that good.We tried to order the soup special and they said it wouldn’t be ready til about 6 PM. Also tried to order the Gumbo which was listed on line, also wasn’t available. Tried ordering the Chocolate Moose Dessert and was also told it wasn’t available.Went to pay the bill with cash, the server brought our change back and quickly said we don’t have coins then left the table quickly. The bills that we should of got were in there but not the coins favoring the restaurant. Not a lot of money but kinda think that’s stealing and if you think about how many times they do it per year it would add up very favorable for them.
