We came from out of town and celebrated my special birthday with a lovely dinner at the Canopy! Beef tenderloin was delicious, along with Chicken marsala, and Baked Salmon! Drinks, appetizers, and desserts were all delicious. The General Manager, Charles, went above and beyond to make my 65th bd dinner an evening to remember! As an added bonus, he walked me to the front of the restaurant and the pianist and guests all sang happy birthday to me!! Very sweet!!
Not a fan. The service was fantastic, however, the food was not even close to the standards set by the atmosphere, ambiance, and superb service from the wait staff. My son and I shared a salad and fries (there's no kids menu), and my husband got this amazing looking burger. The salad was literally leaves from the lettuce head (not chopped/cut at all), and carrots shaved in top; a few onions sprinkled in. The ranch dressing was heavily mayo-based with not much flavor....
Love, love, love The Canopy Lounge. Had a fabulous birthday celebration. The manager, Charles, took the time and effort to make it special from the decorations to the service and food. The food can’t be beat - such a gem of a place right here in Brighton!
