Fun place and super busy. Great selection and loved how you wrote what you wanted on each menu.

Great staff and owners. Love their wines, sandwiches and alternative drinks! Especially love to go out there during the summers when they have bands on their fabulous patio with big tables and dancing area!

My wife and I like to drive Michigan (US12) from time to time. 1-14-24 we enjoyed the snowscapes along Michigan and stopped at Cherry Creek. There were quite a few people inside and a lively atmosphere. We sampled a few wines at the bar and made our selections. I chose a dry Riesling while my wife chose a sweet red with mulling spices. We sat at a table as the mulled wine was prepared. We ordered the cheesy French onion dip which came with potato chips. The mulled wine was delivered. I recommend Cherry Creek serve the mulled wine in a ceramic cup not styrofoam. My wife is way more of a dip fan than me, but it was hot, cheesy, and tasty. I would have preferred some type of cracker instead of chips. My wine was perfect - just the flavor experience I wanted on that frigid day. In my wife’s opinion the mulling spices need to be adjusted which she noted to the server. The servers were friendly and attentive. Picturesque view of the snow covered vineyard from the patio.

We got an igloo for a few hours to do friendsgiving. It went good at first. We were promptly greeted upon arrival. Kyle asked if we wanted to order anything right away. He also let us know what they were out of. We wanted to look at the wine list before ordering drinks so he took us out to the igloo. He said he'd give us about 5 mins to look it over and be back. We got our food from another server about 5 mins later when the last of our group arrived. We waited another 30 mins before I took everybody's order and went inside to place it. I was shocked when I walked in and only 2 guests were inside the winery, I thought maybe it got busy inside. Kyle says "I FORGOT that I had an igloo" so we would have been sitting out there all night if I didn't go in. There were also two other parties in igloos, we didn't see any staff come out to them either. I asked if I could order everyone's drinks and he said yes. We all wanted flights to see what bottles we wanted to share. Then he informed me that we can only get flights inside. I told him I thought that information should have been shared before we were brought out to the igloo. I was beyond irritated at this point. I placed another food order because we had already gone through our previous snack order. He promptly came back to the igloo to get everyone's drink orders. The food wasn't terrible but it was nothing like was pictured in there online menu and we were a little disappointed in that. The charcuterie board we ordered was presented beautifully. Both glasses of wine I ordered were good. I loved the autumn red and got a bottle to share with the group. I feel like it could have been a different experience if there was better customer service. They tried to make up for it. However you should never admit you "FORGOT" about a large party. I won't be back.

We stopped after family photos to have a tasting and ended up getting a bottle to enjoy outside. They had space for our little man to run around and play and igloos for renting for when it’s colder out. They were all super friendly and the wine was very good.

Cherry Creek is wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted to an amazing view: a quaint, rustic, wood-paneled former school house, complete with the bell. I'm far from a sommelier, but their cherry wine is my favorite cherry wine ever, and I've been to every traverse city winery! The food is wonderful; they've been featured on JTV several times. The margherita flat bread is to die for. I strongly recommend adding the pepperoni to it, which they cure and prepare in the kitchen. As a single man who works from home and likes to get out to read (while also enjoying tasty treats and drinks), it's the perfect ambiance. The staff is so amazing. They're all knowledgeably on the offerings, incredibly patient, and all-around good people. CALLOUT: tips are cash only but there is an ATM about a quarter mile down the road in a gas station. Tip your bartenders and wine servers, please.

Not your average winery. Craft beers and some great ciders. You have to try the Root Deer cider! Sounds different and it is... differently delicious!

Excellent wine, food, atmosphere and service. They are open in the winter with igloos, and summertime music!

How could I rate a place that confirmed our stay the night of the 4th, and then closed on us with no notice?
