We have tried using the pickup here a few times. It seems every time there is a problem. They are usually running behind, and you end up making two trips, wasting gas and time. Once, they actually gave me somebody else's order. I didn't notice until I got home. I would only use this location if you are doing the shopping yourself.
don't shop here, the cashiers have nothing better to do than to call customers thefts ,and the employees just like to stand there and watch
Cashier double charged me for an item. Went to "guest services" and the small man, boy, teen, whatever he was behind the counter was rude as could be. Said there was nothing they could do for their employees mistake. Gave me a number to call to receive a REFUND, his wording, as I sit on hold still 27 minutes later being told there's nothing the can do but store credit. I would never ever shop here again. The store is always in disarray, employees are rude. I see a lot of comments of under staffed. Being under staffed does not give you the green light to treat customers like trash. You're in customer service. If you don't want to service people, find a new job
It's funny how you all wait to restock the items that had digital coupons, after the sales are over. Shelves were empty yesterday, completely full today.
I placed an order for fulfilment on 6.18.24 for the hours of 10-11 pickup on 6.19.24, because that's what worked with my schedule. Unfortunately, I received a call at 9:18 from the store that my order will not be ready until after 12. This is not the first time this has happened. If they constantly are running short staffed, perhaps consider closing out some of the available pickup times. I understand this is a free service but it's very frustrating to plan the morning around planning to pick something up only to have to change it
Shoppers beware...I shop the Kroger in Brownstown. Too often the digital coupons do not apply at scan. If you don't watch your receipt, you are losing money. I have to wonder if Kroger is aware of this, and just takes the chance customers will not pay attention. Today, I was tired of it happening. I went up to customer service and asked for the price difference. It was only a couple of dollars. A couple of dollars add up for Kroger across their 2000 stores.
And another thing Kroger, when you have a sale price on fresh salmon, the customer should not have to buy the entire side of salmon. If that is the requirement to purchase at the sale price, note it in the advertisement.
Great selection. When I was younger I stole a loaf of bread to give to my sister's hungry son and was sent to prison for 20 years. I got out on parole and a bishop gave me silver to become an honest man. I became a mayor and factory owner and one of my workers who was a single mother who was dying asked me to take care of her daughter. I agreed and she fell in love with a revolutionary. They built a barricade to try to overthrow the king. It didn't work, but I saved my adopted daughter's boyfriend's life by dragging him through a sewer. Keep up the great work!
Confused on why the deli closes so early. People need things after work. You closing at 1 doesn't help anyone.
Always very clean & great sales. I love their Coke 12 pack specials.
I came here to use my Pampers reward which I claimed through the Pampers Club app. These rewards can only be used at select retailers, and Kroger is listed as one of them.
I presented the offer on my phone to the cashier. He told me he would have to check with guest services to see if it was okay for him to scan it off my phone. He came back and informed me that guest services declined to allow me to use the offer. I asked for a manager thinking that this person may know about the Kroger/Pampers partnership, and he called him over.
I explained to the manager what I was trying to do, showed him the app and the offer, and I informed him that this offer specifically states that it is mobile only and there was no option for me to get a paper coupon of it. Still, he still told me he cannot honor the coupon because they “can’t scan anything on the phones”. This immediately sounded ridiculous to me. I scanned my Kroger rewards card on my phone at the start of the transaction, and the card reader had an advertisement attached to it for some kind of card which depicted a mobile phone being shown with a barcode. I questioned the ad against the statement he had just made, and he told me “Kroger picks what we get to scan”. At this point I’m irritated. I asked him “So Kroger shouldn’t be listed as a selected retailer in this app then?” And he reiterated that he couldn’t scan anything on the phones.
I called Kroger customer service and told them everything that had happened, and the agent I spoke to on the phone didn’t have any answers for me either, though they did provide me with a $30 credit for the trouble. I will be contacting Pampers as well, but wanted to express here how displeased I am with Kroger and how their employees are unknowledgeable about this partnership. It made for a really embarrassing trip to the grocery store and an unnecessarily long line being that only two registers with cashiers were open.

I do shopping here weekly, and have for years… Always well stocked.. clean…
HORRIBLE FLOWER DEPARTMENT! Spent over 100$ on flowers, my boyfriend asked them cut and put in a vase. He was left with 4.5 inch stems (they could barely reach the water in the vase unless it was extremely full) leaves all in the water as well as all the bunches of flowers that were supposed to be on a single stem had been cut and were just falling everywhere. Not to mention the flowers were DEAD in TWO days!! If you are going to work in a department you should know at least a few things about your job. Especially the BASIC things like cutting stems!!
This locations employees are usually always kind and respectful but after my recent customer service interaction I had to leave a review. Cota deserves a raise!! He remained professional, calm and helpful (which is the sorely lacking in the public sector, especially with healthcare workers) when a mistake was brought to his attention. He should be a manager if he isn't already, and train every new employee that shows up! Excellent job Cota!
