The Whiskey Creek Burr Oak is a nice restaurant and bar that has plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu includes some great bites, but it is a little limited. The staff are attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The garden area is perfect during the summer and its dog friendly too.
What a find in a town of 800 people. Beautiful antique bar and restoration of the building. The name says it all. Great whiskey and period cocktails. Only had time for one and wasn't able to try the food. Will stop again on my next trip through the area.
We went here during Burr Oak Days and thought it might packed. It was busy, but not too bad. As more folks joined our party, an impromptu class reunion for my wife and her friends, our server Jayden was amazing. He kept the food and drinks coming and was friendly. He put up with a bunch of almost-50 year olds having a good time in their home town. And the food was great.
