I have bought multiple boxed lunches from here and have tried a few different sandwiches and salads, and have been blown away every time by how delicious and good quality the food is. The bread is so good, along with everything else. I love the salads, how well portioned everything is and it's worth every penny. I also appreciate the manager (I think it's the manager) Brett knows my name and says hi every time I come in, it makes me feel welcome and appreciated. If you're looking for a great lunch spot, Apple Spice is the next place you have to try.

These guys are amazing!! We've used them to cater multiple professional events now, and continue to impress. They are a well oiled machine and do a fantastic job! They even accommodate allergies well. Highly, highly recommend them for events and get togethers.

Really good box lunches.

I don’t understand the 5 star ratings for this place. They are lucky they are getting 2 stars from me. My wife’s office gets from this place on a few occasions and every time shes gotten something its been made wrong and not what she ordered. This last time she got a box lunch from work. There was literally one slice of turkey one slice of roast beef and half a piece of cheese on this big bulky bread. Wheres the meat ???? Secondly the pickle they give is so small it’s like a toothpick, not to mention the bag it was in was not sealed and dumped pickle juice on everything. $13.50 for that ???? What a rip off you don’t even get a drink you get the smallest cup of potato salad a small bag of chips and a tiny candy mint. What does all that cost ? A couple of bucks at best ???
If you like paying for overpriced food and sandwiches with two pieces of meat well you are a better person than I am. It’s so bad that her coworkers pass up the meal when it’s offered. I don’t recommend this place and don’t know how they are even In business!!! Sad but true !

We ordered the box lunches and loved them! The bread is very fresh and soft! The potato salad was delicious and we all enjoyed our sandwiches. We will be back for sure!

Light and healthy, but filling.Do you remember your favorite cold lunch growing up? Mom used a special bread that was soft and used a special sauce? She included a little something special, and it all made your day?Turn it up a notch and that is Apple Spice.The bread is what makes this experience great. It is fluffy, but a little heavier, while keeping it healthy.- Chipotle Chicken: I wasn't sure if the chicken was sliced, but it is not. It is a medium chicken breast grilled with all the fixings. It was hearty and fresh. You have to put on the chipotle sauce yourself, though.- Potato Salad: This was a little much. There were onions in it that were a bit stringy. Tasted fine, but made it a little less manageable in a small cup.- Cookie: A little richer but compensated with a deep flavor that made it taste like your mom tried an exotic flavor that wasn't too much and made you feel like she was trying hard and doing well.- Sides and other things: You also get a pickle and a spiral mint. The plasticware is good, but the napkin was a bit small. I didn't need more for what I had, so I guess it's fine. The box it all comes in is over engineered and tough.I'd go back if I was in the mood again for sure.

Update - we still LOVE the food here and how fresh it tastes. However, I tried the GF bread for the first time today and didn't like it at all. The texture was weird, and the bread broke into a bunch of pieces. I hope they try to change it. They also forgot the chips in my box today, but not a big deal since I don't need them anyway. Probably did me a favor lol. No other complaints. I love how it is easily customizable online and it's always ready on time. That GF dessert was AMAZING! Will definitely be back again.I heard about this place from a post on FB, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try. At first, I wasn't sure if it was strictly for big groups or if you could order just for 1-2 people. After visiting their site, I found you could easily put thru an order online for just one person or more. My husband and I ordered a sub and a wrap lunch box. The boxes were sturdy cardboard boxes with a cookie, chips, mint, condiments, potato salad, and plastic ware/napkin. The food was delicious and really fresh. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

I first heard of Apple Spice at a Lunch n' Learn. I instantly loved the delicious box lunch and the thoughtful details like the wetnap. I decided to order from Apple Spice for an event and it was the perfect decision. From the phone call to place the order to the delivery of the lunch, the customer service was friendly and excellent. The food was loved by the guests, and the pricing is budget friendly. I will definitely be ordering again!

The BEST place in the Grand Rapids area to bring in lunch for a meeting! They have great sandwiches, soups, salads and even offer some tasty seasonal specials! Service is top notch, and delivery is always on time!!
