We were pleasantly surprised with the MacKenzie lodge. It is an older property but has been nicely upgraded/updated. No elevator but helpful staff and nice up to date room. Have skied Caberfae for decades bit had never stayed overnight and glad we did. We even got Pete the manager to schlep our bags up to our 2nd floor room! Loved the hot tub (but 104 would be better than 102) and had fine meals in the Beaties restaurant right in the hotel for breakfasts and dinners. We will be...
Love this place. Best value for skiing in Michigan. Plenty of inside space to warm up, eat, grab a beer, etc. I love the job they do making sure that people don't "camp out" at tables. They always have good food!
