First time being there. I was there as a photographer for a wedding and could not have had a better experience. Great venue, great staff, and beautiful location. Can’t wait to return.
I took my daughter (3 yrs old) skiing yesterday (with a homeschool group) and for a lesson with Dennis. My first impression was that it was a charming resort. Beyond that everyone we encountered was friendly and laid back. Starting with a patron in the parking lot who had parked over the line and was already in his ski boots, had me move his truck for him to clear the parking spot next to him. Got married here Halloween 2025, The space is absolutely stunning, but what truly sets it apart is the atmosphere. It felt warm, welcoming, and intimate without sacrificing elegance. Every detail from the lighting to the flow of the ceremony and reception space made the day feel seamless. Beatie's Bar and Grill, located in the recently updated MacKenzie Lodge, offers delicious and flavorful food. The service is attentive, with staff going above and beyond to help guests. The lodge also features a hot tub and a special IPA brew, Stagsheads 85, available only on-site. Despite being part of a hotel, Beatie's Bar and Grill provides a dining experience that exceeds expectations, with good bar service and a decent tap selection.
