I had the chicken fried steak with some of the most delicious mashed potatoes, gravy and baked beans (with real bacon in it!) I've had in a long time. I brought home a brownie with sea salt caramel ice cream (in separate container for travel home) drizzled in choc - totally off diet, lol, but delicious. Enjoyed Thanksgiving meal (free will donation) & family's love of sharing plus friendly conversation with locals. My history is rooted in area, now alone & last of clan, it was almost like being at grandma's.
