Visited a couple weeks ago and ordered shrimp tacos, they came out cold. Hubby ordered the queso chicken burrito which was packed full of chicken in every bite and delicious. We love supporting local and were very excited about the new weekly chef special feature menu and our daughter was home for college today. We wanted to treat her to dinner and the Smores dessert. Hubby and I ordered the same chicken queso burrito which came out lukewarm in the middle. But the larger problem was that there was no chicken in it. It was basically a bean burrito. Maybe 90/10 bean to chicken, 80/20 at best. Nothing like last weeks and not very edible in my opinion. Though the beans had great flavor, I just couldn't eat a tortilla stuffed with sweet refried beans. We moved on and were looking forward to the Smores dessert. It was served with no pretzel rods or cinnamon grahams as advertised and had about 3 strawberries sliced up. Overall it was a disappointing experience. We also started with the Rustic Crab Ragoon dip which has zero crab in it and tastes absolutely nothing like crab ragoon. The dip tasted like cream cheese and onions. On a positive note, our server was terrific and our daughters pulled pork mac n cheese was great.

I reserved the Barrel room for my daughters 18th birthday surprise dinner and from the initial contact to the thank you email - they exceeded my expectations and I can’t thank them enough! From being accommodating with my number being unknown and then increasing the day of, to the service from our waitress, to the food prepared by the cooks - PHENOMENAL IN EVERY ASPECT! Liv was such a wonderful person to work with and help me and I hope Butchers know how lucky they are to have someone like you running the show and being the face behind the magic! Thank you again for such an amazing experience from start to finish!

the worst bbq I’ve ever had…. Food doesn’t even come out hot and the service is mediocre at best.

tasty bbq food, they have live bands certain days that are chill and sound lovely, and it feels very relaxed even with how active it is

Went with another couple. We had been a few months ago and this was their first visit. Diane did a great job servicing our table. The food was excellent. We all got something different and everyone was thrilled with our choices. Drinks were excellent. They had a band tonight (and Saturdays), the band was very good and very entertaining. Only thing I’d change was the stools at the tall tables, no backs and not as comfortable as I would have liked. Wouldn’t stop me from sitting there again though. Owner stopped by our table and talked for a bit which was very nice also. Would certainly recommend them and will be back again soon.

Food to crave for , mouth watering brisket so delicious, and BBQ sauces so flavorful, love they have different types. Staff always so welcoming and friendly . Easy going atmosphere, definitely my fave BBQ spot

Classiest joint in Caledonia

Thank you, Butcher Block Social, for the most amazing dinner for our CHS teaching staff on conferences night. Our catered meal was incredible from the brisket/pulled pork and chicken to the Mac and cheese and cornbread! Our hearts and bellies are so full. We appreciate your support! Go Scots!

We were meeting an out of town friend for dinner and decided to try this place since it was a convenient location for both parties. The atmosphere was great. Loved the layout and decor. The bar had plenty of patrons who appeared to be "usuals". It was a little slow when we arrived. Our waitress was nice but knew nothing about the food. When asked questions about what was on different items, she literally grabbed a menu to read it. We opted to get a variety of food to share and taste test. Overall, it was just ok. The brisket was good. The pulled pork was smokey but otherwise boring. They need a bigger variety of sauces. The sides were also lacking flavor. I would be willing to go meet friends here again for social time but wouldn't go back just for dinner.

Please don't have 19 year olds carving the brisket, paid 27$ and all I got was fat no meat.

This was the first time that we had dined at this location and was trying it out because we had heard a lot of good things arrived in was seated promptly however our waitress lagged behind significantly and it did not get any better through the experience, the food seemed to come out okay on timing and the food itself was very good we will try again to see if this is an isolated instance but the facility looks to be very inviting and the food was very good so we will give it one more try.
