The only thing I don't love about the place is the acoustics, it gets noisy. Every time I've been there our/my server has been great. The hot { temperature wise } foods are served hot and stay hot, foods aren't greasy either.

Very kitchy little restaurant. Food is absolutely superb. This is by far one of the best restaurants I have eaten at on the Keeweena Peninsula. They are short staffed but trust me the food is definitely worth the wait and there are some neat historical photos to occupy you. And if you get it to go there it's a big comfy couch to lounge on and take a load off while you wait.

Very good fish, but not local, except for the whitefish. The chowder was delicious. We had the cod, and it was excellent, the breading was wonderful. We also liked the fries and coleslaw. The tartar sauce could use more relish and some oomph. The server was friendly. The interior of the restaurant is quite inviting. Soft drinks are served in cans. No alcohol.

The food was fresh and delicious! We had about 6 appetizers and the Cod dinner along with some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. The server was nice and friendly and effigy isn’t. Would definitely return next time we are in Calumet!

Best breaded mushrooms i’ve ever had! Order Fish and Shrimp tacos they were ok, could have used more flavorful toppings. Waiter guy was very unimpressive. Asked for napkins and was barely acknowledged. Never received forks or utensils at our table and was hesitant to ask, so I ate my coleslaw with my fingers. Waiter dude could learn how to be a little more friendly with people. I’ll never go back, don’t recommend!

The food is so good. We've never been disappointed. We stop every time we are passing through town. The battered mushrooms are the best we've ever had and the whitefish dinner can't be beat!
Great little find off of Rt 41 in this old copper mining town. They served up a very nice fish of fresh whitefish and fries. The fish was excellent and at 10 oz it was enough to fill. Service was a bit slow and incomplete.

Fantastic lunch! Not readily apparent from the street for non-locals that it is a restaurant, but we found it easily. Enjoyed kind and attentive service. The clam chowder and fish & chips were delicious. Food was hot and fresh. Fish and fries were crispy. Great space- reminds us of our favorite CO mining town restaurants. Clean and bright space. Reasonable prices. Thank you for a great lunch!

Food was excellent. So glad we stopped. We were confused at first trying to find it as the signage was missing due to a storm. Google maps was showing us it was the last building on the block, it is not. It didn't look like a restaurant but a store front. We googled again and then decided to open the door and so glad we did....we enjoyed it immensely. Thank you.
