Made reservations for my husband’s birthday, was seated right away at a reserved table. Greeted by our wait staff. She was excellent. Ordered the Brocetta (broiled feta) topping was tasty but the bread which wasn’t as crispy - as it needed to be the lettuce 🥬 as garnish was limp as what it would be if you stepped on it and then plated it:( ordered a few burgers - ordered medium but done well :( was supposed to have a mushroom sauce with the mushrooms and Swiss but didn’t...
Love this place! The old dining room is very cool and it’s worth the trip just to see the bar and the restored mural above it. The food and drinks are very good. The French onion soup is some of the best I’ve had. Best lunch spot in the keweenaw.
We had so much fun at the Red Jacket. We felt so welcome the entire time we were there. The staff was as polite as could be.
Ema was our server and she was the best. Possibly the absolute best bruschetta that I have ever eaten. The chicken sandwich was tender and delicious. I tasted all of their brews and was impressed. I went with the pale ale and it was great. The prices were reasonable. I just wish they had more shirts to chose from. =D
