Been wanting to eat here for years. Never worked out or it was just to busy to get in. I guess it helps to go in late Oct.
I got the two piece cod dinner with slaw and fries. Not sure what was in the slaw but it was very good. The fries were salted which is always a bonus. The French Silk pie I had with dinner was a huge piece.
I'll be coming here again.

We always have good experience at the Hut the food is great too. My only complaint is that they are always busy you think they’d make enough to fix the seats and parking lot. More than half the booths are all torn and the parking lot has so many potholes. I love the hut but these things steer me away. The booths are unbelievably torn up you sit on duck tape.

Sigh. I'm really looking for a decent meal outside the home and can't seem to find one in a very long time. I had hopes, this wasn't it. The walleye dinner was $23. Includes soup or salad and potatoes or wild rice. I had a chicken soup and wild rice. Both were way too salty. It was a lingering after taste of salt. The fish was okay but didn't taste all that fresh. The service was OK but not stellar, a tad on the unfriendly side, not a lot, likely just thestaff aretoo busy. They give way too much food. I'd personally rather have really good food and less portion. I have leftovers, just not overly excited about eating this meal a 2nd time.
