Additionally, the prices are comparatively lower than those in Ann Arbor!Enjoy their gyukadon and duck ramen! You will melt in their broth.PS: my sushi and salad were okay, nothing special but i love their miso though.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in the area, Mako son is wonderful and so is the staff. Great selection of traditional dishes as well as ramen selections, My favorite however is omakase.

we ordered miso ramen, a chicken rice bowl, a bunch of sushi, and everything was absolutely amazing! fully delivered to our taste buds, the flavors are spectacular. will definitely be coming back ♡

Had dinner with friends for the first time and was overwhelmed! The service was top notch and the food was amazing. Everything came to the table at the perfect temperature and just as we finished the previous course. This was a lively and super friendly place I highly recommended it!

Love the authentic delicious food!! The service was great! And the ambience was lovely.
Great experience at this place. We Care for Halal. We mentioned out requirements to the owner to prepare halal chicken using separate utensils from pork & beef. Owner took order preparation in his hands and made sure it was according to our wish. Couldn't be more happier! I recommend this place highly! Food quality is A class! Keep up the good work Aji Ten !!

The waitress and chef at this restaurant will publicly shame customers who are not wealthy.My friend and I recently visited this restaurant to catch up and, once we finished our meal, I left a $2 tip. As someone in my mid-twenties, I am not wealthy and currently between jobs. However, I took my friend to this restaurant because I have been going there faithfully since I was 15 years old. My brother even worked here as a busboy in the past. The food is not exceptional, but it is good, and it's conveniently located near my home. When I can afford to, I tip generously out of kindness. However, in this phase of my life, I have to budget, so I could only give a small amount of money to the waitress after our meal.To my surprise, she began yelling at me, claiming my tip was ridiculous. She called over the chef/owner, who proceeded to yell at my friend and me for not paying his employee a more substantial amount of our hard-earned money. We sat there in shock, not knowing how to respond. I explained that it was all I could afford to give, but he insistently told me to never return, acting very aggressively towards us. My friend suggested we leave, as we noticed everyone in the restaurant was now staring at us. The chef even threatened me, stating that he knew my family and we should never come back, despite the fact that my brother used to work there and my siblings and I have been dining here on and off since we were young teens. This entire incident occurred simply because I could only afford to leave a $2 tip at this time.Therefore, I caution you that if you want to enjoy a meal but are not wealthy enough to pay the waitress what her employer should be providing, it may be best to avoid this restaurant. Unless you are willing to tolerate being yelled at by both the boss and the waitress.
