I grew up on the Eastside and grew up eating authentic Iraqi food. So I go to the Eastside for this. I was so excited to see this restaurant in Canton. I picked up beef Shawarma (also known as Gus to me) with rice today. So delicious, exactly the taste I wanted. Family owned, very nice people. Spotless clean which is a bonus. Great prices and huge portions.

Growing up in the metro Detroit area ive had a lot of different middle eastern food, but ive never once had to stop myself after every bite to think about just how amazing it was. 10/10 highly recommend it and will be telling all my friends and family about my experience.

The second we walked in we knew this was about to be the best food we’ve had in a long time. It smelled so AMAZING, we opened up the containers the second we got home and we were NOT disappointed by any means. The hummus??? The best I’ve had in my life by far (and I’ve had a lot of hummus.) the lentil soup??? So good I didn’t even put lemon in it. The kabob itself???
