Staff and management are always friendly. Dinner time does get packed and there may be a wait.

Adding current update: they have revised items on their menu, adding a better variety. They have Motor City Philly cheese steaks that are pretty awesome. They have burger in the name, but they are much more than burgers.

They really care here. I can't think of a time I've been there that the General Manager didn't come check that everything was good and even makes recommendations on what to order.

We stopped in Basement Burger Bar for lunch after shopping at IKEA. The waitress was very attentive and I enjoyed all of the options when I made my own burger. My mom chose a gluten free bun for her burger and she thought it was delicious! The bar had a nice variety of craft beers. I highly recommend this local spot!
