I recently wondered into Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ while I waited for my daughter to finish her music lesson next door. What was supposed to be short 1/2 hour visit to enjoy a quick beverage, turned into a whole experience. From delicious food, impeccable service, a variety of nostalgic games and activities to choose from, and a wide selection of delicious craft beers; this place exudes what food, family, fun can feel like on any random night. Tim, Twan, Tesha were simply wonderful! I highly recommend this establishment! Cheers ?

We brought some friends here and tried our hand at axe-throwing. It was much harder than it looked, but we had fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a number of self-dispensed soft drinks, and a WIDE selection of beers, and cocktails. It’s a unique experience you should try at least once.

We stopped in here for dinner and a drink for the first time yesterday. We tried a sample of the BBQ meats on tacos and a Chicago dog which were both very good. I love the beer wall and card system so you can pay by the ounce for a bunch of beers and ciders that are self serve. Overall a nice looking place with friendly service so we will be back.

Got the Mac and cheese hot dog and tots, my friend got the chili cheese dog. Both were amazing. Their brisket has a good smoke smell and decent taste. Just the right amount of fat. They have axe throwing and a nice beer wall that changes. They have a lot of gluten free options including buns for both sandwiches and hot dogs.

Got the grilled chicken plate(took 30 minutes, everyone else at my table already got their food) , and the chicken was absolutely tiny. The piece of cornbread was bigger than the chicken. It was also very dry. All of the food my friends got looked great, they just have bad chicken.

This place is a joke.... Not real BBQ at all.. everything is pre cooked in a bag. Walked in and kids sitting in the chairs on their phones. They got up and walked into the kitchen. NO ONE AT ALL WASHED THEIR HANDS. Just threw gloves on. I ordered Mac and cheese brisket and I guess they were out of macaroni at that time, so they walked to the back and grabbed a bag and opened in up and put it in the bucket. Took some out and warmed it up in the microwave, you can hear the beep. The meat came out cold. Absolutely no flavor at all Had to drowned my Mac n brisket bowl in tons of cheap BBQ sauce for any type of flavor. The lettuce for the salad was turning brown. 3.45 for a piece of corn bread for a side that was 2inches x 2 inches... ridiculous. Now I see why this place is dead... and it's not because their beer wall that they brag about is not opened, it's the nasty food that is being served... I asked a staff member if anything was made from scratch and the black girl told me no, we get it in a bag and just warm it up. Believe the other reviews that have been written by other people about the food, they are dead on, cheap products you can buy from the store and make at home for way cheaper. Beer wall and axe throwing is not going to save this place. Just like it didn't save it the first time around. Go to Famous Dave's or Big Reds if you want real BBQ, and a better quality of food and get a better product for the price you pay

This is not real barbecue! This is frozen thawed in the refrigerator plastic bag brisket. It's more the texture of corned beef. Tried ALL the meats just taste like it came out of a bag and heated up preservative sodium city tastes like the refrigerated pulled pork You would get in a bag from Save-A-Lot.
This place won't make it on their food alone They need that beer wall open so those axes can get throwing.
The chicken wrap was along the lines of high school lunch. Would it be too hard to heat up and flip the freaking tortilla? Tastes like Meijer brand cardboard tortillas and a deep fried rubbery chicken breast even though it's called a "grilled" chicken wrap.
You're coney let's talk about that fake chili sauce? That Hormel knockoff but worse. You've got to use national brand Coney Island chili or get out of the Detroit area or stop calling that a coney. It's just a "chili dog."
Cheap taste of just ok bar food at best but not the cheap price.
The people were very nice and service was great. This is strictly the food that my issue is with. Get some REAL barbecue in there!!!!

This is our first time at Crave. The staff was extremely nice and gave us some really good recommendations. Thank you!!!! We had the Brisket and Mac and cheese . It was very good. Lots of cheese and also good smoke on the Brisket. Also had the Nacho Cheese Dog (recommended) and I am so glad we did, it was delicious!! We also tried the memphis dog with coleslaw and pulled pork it was over the top good. We had tatertots and tried their bbq sauces everything was so good. Try the Golden BBQ sauce it was amazing!! We want to be able to buy this and take it home. We brought home 2 of their chocolate chip cookies....we should have bought some extra's. Great staff, very clean, fun environment and great food...We would recommend this place and will definitely be going back soon!!

We came here for the first time and let me tell you, it was delicious. The staff is super friendly, gave us some good recommendations and didn't disappoint. I had the nacho dog and my wife had the Memphis dog. We also got the brisket mac and cheese. Restaurant is very clean and the food came out pretty quick. Will definitely be back.

Food was very good. Service was attentive. Only problem is that they are still waiting for their liquor license so the beer machines dont work yet. As this is a major reason for coming here, it was a disappointment. Can’t wait until they get the license as we will be frequent patrons.
