I was just passing through and stopped because I saw their menu online and it showed chili dogs so I had to stop and try one. I travel a lot all over the United States and I am always on the hunt for the best chili dog and theirs is up at the top of what I've tried in the past 5 or 6 years.
To me the ultimate chili dog is something that I had at an old school drive-in many years ago in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Very simple chili with no beans. It was unique and I haven't found anything just like it since those many years ago.

Go on a Saturday. Get the homemade biscuits and sausage gravy (probably the half order is all ya need). Enjoy the walk around the great downtown and beach area. Rinse, lather, repeat!

Telling you right now, nobody cooks food like Mike and Melissa. These two have made a small restaurant into a legendary spot and the ice cream is better than any place I’ve ever had the hotdog chili dogs and everything. It’s absolutely delicious.
We’ve passed this place dozens and dozens of times and we decided to stop and eat and it didn’t disappoint! Everything is home made! The kid got a smash burger, the girlfriend got chicken tenders and I got a Philly cheesesteak and not guna lie it’s probably the best one I’ve ever ate. We all loved the food and we got ice cream to which was very good! Highly recommend eating here if you’re in the area.

The Twirl is a Cassopolis treasure. Right on the bank of beautiful Stone Lake, and serving up tasty burgers and sumptuous ice cream. If you've never jumped off the dock and then relaxed on Twirl's patio eating an ice cream cone, you're missing a quintessential West Michigan summer memory.

Love this place. “Whoever is adding water to our hot fudge needs to stop” became an inside joke in my family at this point and I wish I could go again just to see it one more time. But, as things are, I live in Ohio. Whereas this is in Michigan. Thank you for giving me the chance to even spot the hilarious sign. Also the strawberry shakes are delicious.
