3 stars only because the servers were friendly and attentive enough, albeit the service is very slow even with very few customers there. The real regret is the food: cream of broccoli soup was watered down, unflavored, had only 4 small bits of ham and was lukewarm. The philly cheesesteak scramble was EXTREMELY dry—the meat, the eggs, the hashbrowns. I didn’t know it was possible to get eggs that dry without overcooking them. Not to mention the whole thing didn’t have a lick...

Had Lexi as a server tonight and she was very attentive. My son is 1 and very messy, she was super sweet and didnt let me clean up after him. Said it was her pleasure and catered to him keeping him laughing. Food was great. Young man looked new. Never saw him before but he did not let the business keep him from thriving.

I meant a fellow veteran for breakfast. I did not realize Big Boy still existed as a restaurant until he asked me to meet him there and later told me these restaurants are some of his favorites which he always stops at throughout the state of Michigan on the job.

I can honestly say I have not been to a Big Boys restaurant in over 30 years. Some of the happiest times of my youth we're eating at a Big Boys restaurant with my grandparents and or my parents.
