“The best people in the world come through this door.” This is home. We TRUST their so very good fresh ingredients in their cooking! The new menu is to die for as is the Cedar Mac Burger. Taco Tuesday is so good. The kitchen cooks up specials and those are always good - and very fairly priced. We “lived through” Covid and this has been our go to place for a long time. Servers Rob and Dee Dee (and she’s a cook too) are the best!! You won’t regret coming here - ever. ♥️♥️♥️

When we walked into the tavern, the smell was very musty. It’s a great place if your looking for a small town off the grid feel definitely made for older people, stained carpeted floor, the bathroom doors and very thin maybe 2 feet or so wide. The meat lovers Pizza was terrible it fell apart as soon as you picked it up. There were bristles in it from I assume the brush that is used to put oil on the dough. The pizza looked like it was cooked on the plastic tray it came out on. The meat tasted fake and was really thin. The service wasn’t the best the waitress never checked up on us and within 8 minutes of us getting our food she gave us a to go box without us asking for it and we didn’t get drink refills and wasn’t offered any, didn’t check on us when we got our food to see if we needed anything she just stood behind the bar telling people to work even though she wasn’t working herself. Keep in mind that we were the only ones in there getting food other than the 3 person family who was eating when we got there. Everyone else (10 people max) were there for the bar.

Pizza was very bad slices fell apart as soon as I picked them up. There were bristles in some of the slices from I assume the brush used to oil the dough. Also it looked like that the pizza was cooked in the plastic tray it came out on. 0/10 would not recommend

We went based on a recommendation from our campground. We were so pleased with everything about this restaurant! We were looking for a fish fry and they did not disappoint us. I ordered the cod dinner. I got 4 large pieces of cod, a generous serving of fries and a tasty side of coleslaw. My partner ordered the basic burger and ate it all! The prices are very reasonable and they have a happy hour starting at 4:00. I understand they have other daily specials. We are definitely going back. It is well worth the drive.

We went on a very busy day near Cherry Fest. They had to clear a table for us. Very responsive service. Food came quickly. Very tasty bar food. I had a burger, wife had grilled cheese. The atmosphere is spot upon n for an up north bar. Not fancy, but like a clean log cabin. Will go back for sure.
Vegetarian options: Fantastic cheese sandwiches, and salad options. As vegetarian as you can get with bar food. I didn’t see any tofu/beyond meat options though.
Kid-friendliness: They have TV’s and it is moderately loud, so kids would be fine.

This place was so fun! We went for dinner during a pretty busy time and they only had two servers working - our server was so attentive, we wouldn’t have realized if we weren’t observing. She was also bartending that night and made our drinks very strong! The food was all delicious and prices were very reasonable.
