My 83 year old Mother said Polish Countryside Kitchen was THE BEST Polish food she has had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. (Said the Polish sausage was The Best EVER!) She’s a hard critic to please, nice job! We will make the drive up again.”

“We had a wonderful visit to Shady Lane Cellars while we were in the Traverse City area. Sitting outside with a glass of wine made for such a relaxing afternoon—the vineyard views are beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful. Our favorite was the Pinot Gris. It was crisp, refreshing, and the perfect wine to enjoy on a warm day. The staff was friendly and made the tasting experience enjoyable without ever feeling rushed. We’d definitely come back on our next trip!”

“Really loved our visit here - wines were fantastic and we especially loved Block 65 named for their football playing brother who passed away. Such a friendly place especially Ed, one of the family members. Thanks for being so warm and welcoming. We loved the oysters, poke and pizza in addition to the views and solar panels. Well worth a visit. We brought wine home and can’t wait to share it. So class to downtown TC and well worth a relaxing visit.”

“I had a sandwich at Lylah’s today, amazing quality and could easily had fed two people. The flavor was incredible. I am happy to say this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Leelanau county. My kid's favorite pizza ever is the Idaho Deluxe! I ordered takeout and didn't notice they forgot the chicken on my full sized chicken cashew salad and was given the half sized instead. I wanted them to take the salad off my bill, but she said my options were to leave my kid's birthday party or get a credit for next time, so I chose the credit. After she took all my information she said I get a side salad next time I come in. That's not even what I ordered. The food is good just check and make sure your order is correct before leaving if you get takeout. This is the first time I've ever called an establishment and the interaction was disappointing. I always tip on my takeout orders too.”

“Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Lots of variety in food and drinks, which doesn’t even include that GIGANTIC selection of alcohol and freshly made foods throughout the day. Aways a delight to stop in and just see what’s available and grab a quick slice (or two) of pizza and a pop. Highly recommend!!!”

“Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else.The server was friendly and efficient.”
