“A+ Dinner. We visit Traverse City a couple times a year and this was our first visit to Stella. The atmosphere is very cool in the lower level of the commons. The food was delicious, the housemade bread and burrata were simply amazing. Our server Shelby was fantastic and her recommendations were on point too! Will definitely be back on our next trip to TC!”

“Had the Olive Twists, Crab Cakes and Cheese Plate for starters. It was all amazing! I’m an olive fanatic and so the twists, having feta with them made them the best thing ever! For main course, we both had the Mushroom Stroganoff. Again, I’m also a mushroom fanatic and this was so good!Dessert was the pear cobbler and two scoops of ice cream. A very nice way to end the dinner! The staff was attentive and very informative and also didn’t really hover. My one small complaint, was we noticed a few fruit flies flying around and so that wasn’t very fun. And also the seating we had was by the doors and so during the conversation, we had a lot of door slamming.I will definitely be back cause it was all amazing.”
“First off, the greeting at arrival is outstanding! We were welcomed at our table promptly and offered water and a drink option, we loved all the local selections. To say the meal was fabulous is an understatement! I highly recommend the scallops and risotto. Everything was just fantastic and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait for our next visit.”
“Gnocchi is hard to find and they have it. Not only do they have it, it's delicious. The Alfredo sauce is easily the #1 Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Perfectly balanced flavors. Simple menu with plenty of options and a nice drink selection. I'll be back for the same exact meal again. AND AGAIN!! ?”
“Great food. Excellent spot for family meal. The little ones were treated with kindness and patience. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: The kids were squabbling over the toy they received and the waitress just gave them another, without a request. Very attentive staff. Made for a relaxing afternoon”

“Absolutely great Sechuan experience. The spicy nature of the cuisine is captured perfectly by these skilled artisans. The balance of flavors is exceptional. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy the Crocodile Palace.”

“We were here in October 2023. This is a late post because my husband and I were just reminiscing about the best pizza we EVER had. This Florida couple was so impressed, we plan to come back annually. This is a bucket list item you simply must check out!!!”
“This is a must stop for a juicy, messy, amazing burger. The stuffed burgers are phenomenal!! You may want to grab two because on a pretzel bun, they re-heat well. A next-day stuffed burger is just as good as if it were hot off the grill!!!!”
“Folgarelli's has the best deli and the BEST sandwiches we've ever had! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The selection of Italian products was top notch. Our chat with one of the owners was heartwarming. Anytime we are NEAR Traverse City, we will return for one of their superb sandwiches from their deli.”
“My husband and I are coming in from Chicago to visit family and I just ordered 5 roles after 5 hours of driving. We just placed all of them on my car and ate them in the crisp air and afternoon sunshine. Absolutely DELICIOUS and high quality fish. I love that the rolls are simple because the quality of the ingredients really get to be the star of the show. We will be back!!”
“Incredible service from a team of professionals - some of the best service we’ve been treated to in recent memory. Great bev program. Thoughtfully composed dishes that are super fun to eat. Shockingly affordable - like crazily so.This place is a gem in TC. We WILL be back. Six Stars.”

“Great place to hang out and get a beer. The two different beers that we tried were great ands the atmosphere was very comfortable. The only downside is that they don’t offer food. I did see that people were bringing food from other restaurants but it would be nice if they had some small appetizers or something. The beer was good enough to have us overlook the lack of food.”
“We return every year for relaxing tastings and possible new wines. Sarah was friendly and full of tips on the Traverse City scene for food and beverage. So appreciate the personal service and friendly smile!!”
“What a great visit today with Ernest! Had not been here in a couple of years and we wished we had started there today. Would have spent the entire day there. Ernest was fun, welcoming and did not rush us even though we got in close to closing time. Wine was phenomenal and Ernest was even better! Until next time!❤️”

Farm Club
“My experience today at Farm Club was absolutely fantastic! I showed up at around 1:50, not knowing they were going to close at 2 (it was Super Bowl Sunday). As my fiancee and I were telling the staff that we didn’t want to be “those people” and we would come back another time, the staff insisted we have a seat and food would be delivered quickly. Not only was the food delivered quickly, the food was fabulous. I got the huevos rancheros, my fiancee got the french toast. It also came with complimentary cider mimosas, and we were given a bag full of baked goods that would be unfit to sell on Tuesday free of charge.Even though we showed up at closing, the staff never treated us like we were an issue and instead welcomed us with open arms. It was a fabulous experience and we will most certainly be back!”

“Taproot is awesome. Very vegan and allergen friendly. They don’t use any soybean oil (they use olive oil!), which is so rare and awesome for soy allergies. Farm-to-table food, healthy and delicious. Family friendly too. They really go the extra mile to make things from scratch, especially their desserts!”
“We came here on our way to the airport to leave Boyne. We were seated quickly and had water on our tables within 3 minutes. While our waitress was super busy she kept on checking back to let us know she hadn't forgotten about us (which goes a long way in managing expectations). Our party of five ordered the turkey melt, brisket fries, hamburger, Irish egg rolls and Mac n cheese bites. My friend said his burger is the best one he has had in a long time. I LOVED the brisket fries and everyone else enjoyed their food. The only item we didn't love was the Irish egg rolls which came highly recommended. They were too dry.Our waitress was so sweet and even being as busy as she was made sure we always had everything we needed.Thank you all for a great experience!”
“One of the best places in Downtown TC to get a quick bite. They have a lot of really inventive and creative crepes. The inside of the place is well thought out and decorated. People are super nice!”
“The server did a great job of informing us of drink selections and popular food items. We liked the atmosphere. The food was excellent and deserts were delicious!”
“Higher Grounds coffee offers a delightful experience for coffee enthusiasts. The rich aroma and robust flavors of their beans create a truly satisfying cup. The commitment to ethically sourced, fair-trade beans adds an admirable touch to the brand. Whether you prefer a bold espresso or a smooth pour-over, Higher Grounds delivers quality that elevates your coffee ritual.”
“So glad my BF and I discovered this place, we’ve been coming here a lot lately. It has a white tablecloth, quiet atmosphere which we appreciate. I recommend the Middle Eastern Flatbread for appetizer, salmon for entree. BF likes the pollock, lightly breaded and flash fried so not too heavy. The servings are very generous so plenty left for the next day.”
“All the extra touches...served food at once by two servers, complimentary bite to start us off, described food when served, replaced silverware, etc. Extra friendly and great food.”
“Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. We get the 7 course wine pairing dinner. Each dish is thoughtful, and the wine is paired perfectly. I will be coming here for a long time to try all of the new creations.”
“Super cute and great location. We were there right when it opened, and we were happy we were bc it's got busy really fast!! We both got omelets, and they were great. The sour dough bread was awesome! Great bloody mary, too!!”
“I previously left a negative review due to some issues with our visit. However, management promptly reached out and made it right. I appreciate them doing that and would give their service five stars.”
“The energy was high and fun! Service was good as well but the hibachi grill portion size was a little under when they split it upVegetarian options: I know they have vegetarian options but I wasn't personally looking for it”
“Pretty good. Tried their Shawarma wrap and plan on heading back soon to try other things. Although not a huge place, the inside is bigger than I anticipated. Cool vibe and good food.”
“We went for early dinner and the server was amazing. The food was delicious — fresh salad just the right amount of seasoning and great homemade dressing. Everyone loved their food! We will definitely go back.”
“Hawthorne Vineyards was the last stop late in a long day of wine tasting on the Mission Peninsula. Thank goodness we made the stop, since it turned out to be the best one by far. While a bit off the beaten path, you’ll find Hawthorne to be a charming and peaceful setting that will make you want to stay and relax for some time. Their wines were delicious, the selection of wines was terrific, and cost wise it was the most reasonable of all the tastings we did. But the best part of the stop was our host Lauri, who was extremely engaging, personable, and very knowledgeable about the wines she was serving. We’re so glad we stopped, and will not hesitate to return next time we’re in the area.”
“The server did a great job of informing us of drink selections and popular food items. We liked the atmosphere. The food was excellent and deserts were delicious!”
“We haven't been in the building so cannot speak to the atmosphere but if the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff is any indication I'm marking it 5 stars.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Awesome spot for Laotian & Cambodian food. Owners, husband and wife, together represent both countries as first generation immigrants.Food is superb. I ordered noodles with peanut sauce, and it was splendid. My spouse ordered bamboo noodles with tofu, also profound. They don’t offer the more familiar Asian cuisine many Americans are accustomed to seeing at fusion restaurants; it’s uniquely Southeast Asian food.Looking back, I wish I had tried their Pho ?I know it would have been good.Stop by if you’re in Traverse City area! You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Meat is optional for most menu items (probably all if you ask).Dietary restrictions: Vegan was no problem, vegetarian was even easier. Meat is add-able.Kid-friendliness: Owners also have kids. They keep toys onsite. Our kids did great ?Wheelchair accessibility: East access.”
“Best place for gourmet burgers in TC and really best we've ever had - inventive Southwestern-leaning flavor profiles for freshly made, huge and tasty smashburgers and cut fries - cool and cozy mid century modern decor with a cowboy twist - friendly staff remembers regulars and speedy consistent quality and service. YUM YUM YUM!”
“Moomer's Ice Cream is a wonderful regional brand based outside of Traverse City. We love their ice cream! They have many unique flavors. My wife and I visited on a cold, snowy evening in March and were amazed at the number of people stopping in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going. If you go there in the summer, expect a crowd, but not a long wait. They are fast and efficient behind the counter. Step outside to eat your ice cream, and across the field to the west, you can see the dairy farm where the milk comes from.Great ice cream and great place visit. A slice of Americana you will want to revisit again and again! #MoomersIceCream”

“Friendly, busy, and crowded place with delicious food and a fun atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get a booth as during our stay tables and booth did not stay empty for more than a minute! Definitely, this restaurant has everything right!!”
“What a wonderful brunch experience! The waitress was excellent. We had a 4 year old with us. She suggested we order for him while she was getting our drinks. So smart. He had pancakes and some of the best bacon in TC. We had brunch drinks (Kentucky Bourbon Coffee-yum! Irish Coffee-yum! And a morning mimosa buck-yum!). Breakfast was huge and delicious. We had the stuffed tomato filled with goat cheese and pancetta topped with eggs. Plus a basil sauce. So good. Came with fried potatoes. Too big to eat in one setting. We also had their omelet which was filled with lots of good stuff. Lastly their chicken Benedict. Everything was excellent. Cool vibe. Great service. Absolutely will come again.Kid-friendliness: Great waitress. She made sure our 4 year old was well taken care of.”
“Busy, busy place, but they got everyone through super quickly!! The line was to the door, but we didn't wait more than four minutes to put our order in.A great place for those who are lactose intolerant! Many flavors to choose from, and staff is great! They offer shakes, lattes, and the "non ice cream" ice cream. I'm not sure what it is really. Our family of 5 got a variety of items, and we all enjoyed our selections. Our total came to about $35. We could have sat inside the shop, but chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful night!”
“Amazing burgers and fries. I had the Hula slider and it was absolutely amazing. I am always skeptical about pineapple on a burger and saturating the bun. This was perfect and absolutely delicious. I'm still dreaming out about it a few days later!”
“We had an exceptional dining experience at Archie's. Restaurant and diningware was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Menu had a great variety of breakfast and brunch favorites. Despite being a busy Sunday, our food arrived reasonably quick. Food was amazing, eggs were cooked to order, tasty, and hot off the grill! My only wish is that we would have discovered this gem sooner on our trip and had breakfast there every day.”
“Lights out and hands down the best burgers in town. Always made a point to stop at the truck at little fleet. Stoked to see you grab some full time real estate. GO EAT HERE. You won’t regret it.”
“My fiancee Mike and I ate there today, he had their pot roast dish, I had 1/2 a rack of their BBQ ribs, fries, coleslaw and some potato skins for a appetizer. The food was totally delicious, their service was great, we will be going there again soon, I highly recommend them, great eatery!”
“We love being able to go through the drive thru to pick up ice cream! My kids really enjoy the twists with the faces and I really enjoy the some whips that change every week!”
“Some friends and I brought my husband here for some whiskey tasting for his birthday. A friendly young man shared his expertise on the spirits that we had chosen. I asked him his name as I was truly hoping it would be Harrison because I had read so many reviews with many people pointing out how great he was. I was so excited when he said, that was his name, and I told him that his reputation proceeded him! He was truly humbled and said that made his day. But he definitely made ours. Harrison was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestions were spot on. We will definitely be back to see him to try & buy some more The next time we were in town!”
“I stopped in for the first time today to grab a quick lunch to go, based on the recommendation of a client. I ordered an Italian sandwich and a cranberry-orange muffin. Both tasted great! Quick service. Pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely be back!”

“I was visiting in the area, and my friends took me to this place for pizza, and it did not disappoint! I had the cherry cream soda and pizza. Everything was delicious, the servers were fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! One of the young ladies was kind enough to take a few pictures of our group.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I want this place to make it...so I'm leaving some positive and some critical reviews.1. My gyro was delicious. Flavorful...great ratio of meat to veg to bread. However...I was immediately nervous when I saw gyro meat just sitting on the cutting board. No heat lamp. No refrigeration. I could have JUST been put there or it could possibly no longer be for use in sandwiches...I can't be sure I was only there for about 5 minutes because my order was ready exactly when they said it would be! (...but that's a bad look.) Also I hope the lettuce comes triple washed b/c I saw whole heads come out and get cut up and put on the line without being washed after getting broken down. :/2. Hummus and bread were great and again good portion sizes. Extra side of garlic sauce was well worth it...delicious3. Chicken lemon rice soup was sorta bland. Not bad. Just not great.4. I am not sure if the folks behind the counter were short staffed, not feeling well, or having a row haha. They're also working in an open kitchen which just SUCKS, and they seemed pretty busy with carry-out orders. Just a vibe check...thanks for being open and getting good food out the door on time regardless! Would love to come back again and have a 5-star worthy experience...we need a good Greek Coney in TC!!!”
“People are always so nice and the drink options are endless! My girlfriend prefers the coffees and Matchas and I am more of an energy drink person so the 7 energies are my go to!”
“My wife and I were on our way home from a long week in TC and needed our morning coffee fix. The neighboring Starbucks was 10-15 cars deep so we came across Cuppa Joe across the street and decided to give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised at how good the iced mocha and blonde roast coffee was! Affordable prices and extremely friendly staff. We will definitely be back next time we're up!”
“Good food, custard is also nice. Their butter burgers are gross unless you add BBQ, as they're too dry and the strong greasy butter flavor comes through alone, but then they're the BEST fast-food burgers. I love their butter burgers, albeit with BBQ...Crinkle fries are always a hit in this family. Cheese curds even more so.Kid-friendliness: Free stuff for kids, with kids meals. Plus they're big on kids foods (chicken tenders, grilled cheese, fries, cheese curds, corn dogs) and ice cream (custard actually).”
“One of the few good fast food places left in traverse city. The food was good and the service was even better Cynthia was so fast to help with issues and got our stuff out fast.”
“Came here for the first time to this coffee drive through and was greeted with a very pleasant voice. The staff was very helpful in what I should choose. Ordered the Golden Honey (tumeric) hot latte!! Received it within minutes!! It was nice and hot!! Loved it at the first gulp! The honey on the coffee was perfect and not over done! I hope to be back again! Thank you for the Traverse City memories!! I highly recommend this place for a cuppa Joe!!”
“Stopped in for a frozen custard dessert after dinner. After some confusion during the ordering process that caused a delay in receiving our food, our dessert was excellent. I had the strawberry sundae and my wife had the cherry shake. The staff was great about the delay. We were given two cards for free baskets at our next stop.”
“I always order at this Mancinos but its always pick up and always bread nuggets. Today around 4:30 or 5pm a gentleman took my order my wife picked it up and he tells my wife that her husband is always so nice and polite. I dont know who the man is but thank you that really meant alot to me. He took my order as polite and customer service thats better than anyone at any restaurant around. Again thank you.”
“First time trying JJs.My sandwich was ready before I even walked to the end of the counter. Freakishly FastThe tuna was hearty and tasty and not 1/2 tuna 1/2 mayo.Everyone was cool, as if they liked their job.Overall great experience.”
“Every order I've placed on the app has been accurate and fresh! I place my order at first break and then go to BK and tell them I ordered on the app. We order plain cheeseburgers and they're accurate every time ??”
“It's a coffee shop so good and atmoshere compared to other coffee shops comparable but the service is fabulous.Great staff.Parking: A short walk to the doorKid-friendliness: Very patient and sweet with kiddos”
“I ordered a chef's ? and boy did I get my money's worth. Not only was it delicious ? I had to bring the rest of it home. I highly recommend it. My husband enjoyed his Reuben sandwich very much. Well worth the stop for lunch. If we ever come back to Traverse City, we will definitely be back at Sparky's Diner ?.”
“Mike who works late nights at this BK is great! Anytime I stop by after work my order is always sent out to me in good deal of time considering it's closing time and I'm beyond thankful they take my late night dinner.. correct, and fresh! Shout out to Mike and his night team. Please give them all raises. As it is very well deserved to good employees like Mike! Thank you! Goodnight!”
“All the times i got there everyrhing is great the workers there give a great service always give what we want and they are quick. Their machines are always functional .”
“Great smoothie and great service too! The young man Cameron working drive thru treated me so well, was so kind to me it made my day!! I will definitely be back!!”
“Loved the Sand Bar Sour!! Had the Pigs in a sheet panini. Delicious!! Stop in and give them a try, Eleven beers on tap along with a seltzer and a couple wine choices.”
“Being a bird fan, I was delighted to find this brewery. The atmosphere is great (and very bird-forward), the beers are creative and wonderful, and the food was scrumptious. The blackened Mahi tacos were especially enjoyable.Vegetarian options: Quite a few to choose from! Lots of salads, and you can make substitutions on other items to make it vegetarian.”
“A very neat atmosphere with good cocktails. The service and attentiveness of staff has been good. Our last trip was a bit harder to get drinks, but we are hoping this is a fluke.”

“I loved the fact that they had testers, this made it better to pick what milk tea we wanted. I usually hesitate at trying new teas but we got the mongo milk tea tester and ended up getting it. The worker was vey helpful with helping us order.”
“Rounds is a small friendly home style home town restaurant. Offering good food and friendly atmosphere..This was my first visit and definitely want to come ”
“This is like a little diner dive with amazing hamburgers. Cooked on the grill and other specialty. Hot and cold sandwiches. But really stands out is a luxurious salad bar. You can buy a small for eight and a large for 10 and fill up as much in the container as possible. So it's a pretty good deal. It's not paid for by the pound. They are missing edamame which is my favorite though. Overall, definitely worth going to this place”
“What not to love! We stayed in Traverse City for 2 and a half days. Two of the days we ate here it was that good. We were there during peak time and a slow time and both times the service and food were of great quality. The table favorite was the Black Cherry Pancakes. Just get them, no hesitation!”
“Silver Spruce Brewing Company offers a diverse range of craft beers with distinct flavors. The ambiance is inviting, providing a cozy setting to enjoy their brews. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or a casual visitor, Silver Spruce Brewing Company is worth a try for its well-crafted beverages and pleasant atmosphere.”
“Mundos HQ is an awesome spot to grab coffee with a friend or get work done. The environment is clean and relaxing with many plants throughout the shop for decor and for sale. Special lattes are available in addition to their normal menu (I currently love the peanut butter and cinnamon roll lattes). They also have a great selection of food. I’ve tried the good toast and chile lime burrito and enjoyed both. Many plugs are available throughout to plug in phones, laptops, or tablets for work. Bathrooms are very clean. Lots of parking available.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options include the veggie burrito, good toast, waffles, avocado toast, avocado bowl.Dietary restrictions: Mundos has many dairy free milk options available for coffee. They also have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free menu options.”
“Is the little fleet open in the winter? Yes, but not as you'd expect. Just the inside bar is open with no guarantee of food. They have a small pop up kitchen with restaurants that come in to serve a small menu. The drinks and service were good. Not rating the food since it wasn't theirs.”
“Fantastic experience always, have probably eaten here no less than 50 times over the years. They have it dialed. Clean facility, friendly staff and authentic fresh food.Tamales, Tostadas the Big Burrito and now the special Birria Taco. Always a treat! Just take all of my money! :)”
“A few years ago I bought a Third Coast gf/df carrot cake at the grocery store and it was really good. I have wanted to go to the bakery ever since and finally went yesterday. I bought a slice of the blueberry lemon loaf and a cinnamon pumpkin donut. They were both really good!!! The blueberry lemon loaf was my favorite of the two, but both were excellent! I have had gf and df restrictions for years and have tried numerous desserts that aren’t very good or just ok. This bakery has figured out how to create delicious treats for those of us that have dietary restrictions! Thank you!!”
“People are very nice I just wish that they had more staff because I waited a pretty long time just to go and buy a pack of zins and a pizza but I can't blame the staff or anything like thatBut their food is ”
“While in town for the month, I discovered that this place is on my walk to work. I am now a slave to the cookie shed. They are SO delicious and I would highly recommend! If you want more cookie selection, visiting earlier in the day is best, because the stand closes up once the cookies run out. I've tried a cookies & cream bar, caramel-stuffed chocolate cookie, peanut butter bar, and a brownie-batter filled chocolate truffle. Everything has been out of this world!”
“My wife and I stopped in for a couple drafts yesterday, and we were very impressed. Awesome brews, great location, and we were lucky enough to have Jacob be our bartender. Really enjoyed talking with him, and he does a great job! We'll be back.”
“Edit: Five years after my original five star review.I've been here literally hundreds of times by now and they're still one of my favorite places in town. 2-3 times a week and their amazing food never gets old. Can't recommend enough!”
“We bought 2 regular pretzels with a side of cream cheese and cheese sauce with a coke. It ran us $14 and change. We sat outside at the tables on the sidewalk. It was quite breezy, but you could see the water and the buzz in town was quiet and calm. Perhaps everyone was at church. Either way, we enjoyed our food. The flavor was excellent!! Our service had been great. Overall a fabulous experience.”
“T.C. Latino is the light of my life. The food is so reasonably priced, and always delicious. It's both the best and the only authentic Mexican food in this town. Edward has a smile that shines like the Sun, and he always makes me feel welcome while I stand awkwardly in the corner waiting for my meal that doesn't break $10. When offering salsa, you're given two options. But there's a secret third option. Once you know about it, you're welcomed into an elite club where they already know which salsa you want. It's almost as good as having friends. I would do anything for them. Also they have flan!”
“Super cute and great location. We were there right when it opened, and we were happy we were bc it's got busy really fast!! We both got omelets, and they were great. The sour dough bread was awesome! Great bloody mary, too!!”
“I was ordering a gift certificate over the phone for a private tasting and Jacob made the process extremely simple & was very helpful. He gave great details on the whole process which was much appreciated since this was for a gift. Wonderful guest service!”
“The energy was high and fun! Service was good as well but the hibachi grill portion size was a little under when they split it upVegetarian options: I know they have vegetarian options but I wasn't personally looking for it”
“Okay… new favorite place in town! Delicious sauces and food. They even have very tasty “pretendies” for all my fellow veggie nuggets!Vegetarian options: Love that this place has delicious alternatives for vegetarians, and they don’t up charge you an arm and leg like most places!”

“We each did a flight of beers that sounded interesting to us and liked a majority of them. There were a lot of unique flavors and some things that were fun to try. The Nitro CEO stout was smooth and delicious. Concrete dinosaur was heavy and tasted great as well. Wait staff was friendly and chatty. The arcade games put coin slot to shame. We had a really fun time and we’d go back in a heartbeat.”
“My wife and I took a little trip to 2 Lads on a day of visiting several wineries. We were very impressed with the breathtaking views and friendly customer service we received!”

“This is a must stop for a juicy, messy, amazing burger. The stuffed burgers are phenomenal!! You may want to grab two because on a pretzel bun, they re-heat well. A next-day stuffed burger is just as good as if it were hot off the grill!!!!”
“Wish they never closed LaSenorita in Gaylord MI.Now we haven't been to one since Gaylord closed. MANY MANY people think it was horrible that ours was closed. Now if we want to go we have to drive OVER ONE HOUR. With gas prices what they are. We will be lucky to go once a year.”
“We were a party of five. Our food came out promptly and hot. The Tavern Burger and fries were amazing. The seafood chowder was even better! The side salad was way above average with spring greens and multiclor tomtoes. The wood fire pizza is legit. And when one of us ordered carrot cake for dinner, the server didn't blink an eye!”
“My husband and I love going out to eat at Mode's. The food is always spectacular, the service is superb and we always know we're going to have a nice, relaxing dinner. I recommend it to all my friends and anyone I know who is coming to Traverse City from out of town.”
“I must say, the server Shane was extremely helpful in giving us knowledge on the dishes and also input on historical information on this location .The dishes, oh my goodness, was taking me to Italy. The chef is doing it right. In every bite you taste layers of flavors. Definitely a must if you love great food and awesome staff.”
“Food and service was excellent. A nice hidden gem in Traverse city. Made from scratch food to eat there or take to go. Somewhat of a cafeteria setting but still nice. Flavors of the food made up for that”
“I got the cinnamon rolls, the coffee cake, and brownie truffles. My palate loved every single one of these desserts. They were a perfect blend of sweet, and gooey. I felt each item made a statement that showed careful consideration that went into baking them. There are so many options at Bay Bread, I can't wait to go back and see what else Team Bay Bread has.”
“I was recommended to visit this place when I was traveling to Traverse City, Michigan and I recommend you to visit them too! I love walking into bakeries and that sweet smell of the pastries hits you in the face, and especially ones like Potters bakery with inviting employees and so soft donuts! I was originally only going to by three donuts and ended up walking out with half a dozen because they all looked so good! The filling in the donuts were plentiful and went well with the donut itself. They have so much more than donuts though that is worth trying for sure.”
“What a great visit today with Ernest! Had not been here in a couple of years and we wished we had started there today. Would have spent the entire day there. Ernest was fun, welcoming and did not rush us even though we got in close to closing time. Wine was phenomenal and Ernest was even better! Until next time!❤️”
“Amazing food. The service cannot be beat. I'd highly recommend this to everyone!! I had the butter chicken, rice, and pita. The chicken was full of flavor and the rice was perfectly done. The pita was fluffy. The server even offered multiple samples so that I could pick the best entree for me. Five stars!!! You will not be disappointed. Their food rivals any fancy place in town.”
“Amazing burgers and fries. I had the Hula slider and it was absolutely amazing. I am always skeptical about pineapple on a burger and saturating the bun. This was perfect and absolutely delicious. I'm still dreaming out about it a few days later!”
“Incredibly authentic and delicious tapas experience! We went for a special birthday dinner and focused our meal on tapas. There were two of us and we had the Bahia Board and added the chef cheese & chorizo, the Bravas, Albóndigas (meatballs), tortilla española (omelette), champiñones (mushrooms & chorizo), and the gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp). It was a delightful meal and we couldn’t decide what we liked best! We definitely had more than enough food as the servings are a decent size and we had left overs. Awesome spot and can’t wait to come back!”

“Love the food. Just wish they would actually stay open until they claim to be. They regularly close early on a whim. It's frustrating to call when it says they're open and get rejected by their annoying automated ”

“I want to take the time to share my non - stop positive experiences with the crew at the front street Starbucks.I have been dropping by the drive thru for about 4 years now and they are my favorite coffee stop but it's not the coffee itself, per say. Don't get me wrong I love the coffee but it's hands down because of the staff. They are always friendly, caring and go above and beyond for their customers.Often when they recognize its me ordering, they not only re-greet me warmly, we have nice quick little conversations or they will take the time leave me sweet messages on my cups or do something like leave me a suprise sticker on my cup because they know I'm that kind of person who appreciates that kind of thing.I have been a barista before and I also have 7 years of retail management and I know that staff members like these are hard to come by and yet this Starbucks consistently has an entire staff of really awesome human beings at the helm. It's refreshing and appreciated in the world today :)The folks who work at this location are not just making coffee for our community, they are actively making us each truly feel like we are part of the community in the many ways they try to connect with their customers :)Thank you ?”
“We love being able to go through the drive thru to pick up ice cream! My kids really enjoy the twists with the faces and I really enjoy the some whips that change every week!”
“The best restaurant in Michigan, hands down. The atmosphere, service, food and drinks are unique and amazing. You can tell a lot of thought goes into every dish and drink. I drive to TC from GR just for this place, because it’s that worth it!”
“This restaurant was excellent. The service was very good. We started out with the shrimp and lobster bisque and it was exceptional. Their house specialty for a reason and my favorite part of the meal. Packed with flavor. For entree, I got the whitefish which was overall good and the side of mashed potatoes and green beans didn’t disappoint either. My colleague got the salmon which he enjoyed greatly. We will certainly come back.Update: We did come back and it was as good as ever! Got the scallops entree which tasted great and the smoked whitefish dip is excellent! Just a great overall flavor.”
“We showed up around 1030pm on a Thurs night in Jan 2024. The bar was dead despite there being a DJ there. The bartender was very sweet and helpful. We stayed about 2 hours dancing and paying the DJ to play better music. There was about a dozen people there and they were chill. Loved that they had nonalcoholic beers, and good ones too! We'd come back!”
“I stopped in for the first time today to grab a quick lunch to go, based on the recommendation of a client. I ordered an Italian sandwich and a cranberry-orange muffin. Both tasted great! Quick service. Pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely be back!”
“This is one of the best CBs we've ever dined at! The service was fantastic. Our food was cooked perfectly and tasted great! The real fire was on! I wish all Cracker Barrels were this good!”
“Loved the food, it was super delish. We had salads, soup, and chicken tenders. My date had the Cranberry Aperol drink, which was tasty if a little sweet. The Gorgonzola-chive dressing is a hit, and the chicken tenders seemed hand breaded. My mom’s squash soup was super sweet, so if you like that, you’ll love it. She ended up adding salt for her taste. Our bartender/waitress seemed so out of it. It took forever for her to talk to us, couldn’t remember what we ordered (had to walk back to confirm three separate times) and brought the dressings for the salads to the wrong people by itself. It was not busy by any stretch. It made a delicious lunch off putting by making us uncomfortable in having to check and recheck the order. We got the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it was… weird. So cold that you couldn’t spoon through the ganache on top. When the waitress dropped it off, she said “sorry, the whipped cream is dead.” Lol it was just kind of a weird experience.”
“We were here in October 2023. This is a late post because my husband and I were just reminiscing about the best pizza we EVER had. This Florida couple was so impressed, we plan to come back annually. This is a bucket list item you simply must check out!!!”
“Great place, we only had ice cream. It cost $16 for a small and medium ice cream, which seems high even for a tourist town. Staff was friendly, and great view of the bay.”
“Food was good. Euro sandwich was good. Tomato bisque was not up to par. Good selection of beers on tap. Staff was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was nice but dang is there a discount for bringing kids?!? Seriously there were lots of families with small children. I love kids but unexpected to see at a bar. I would go back for the beer.”
“Awesome spot to stop off the main drag in Traverse City. Latin American dishes, awesome decor, live music. Very cool, calm vibes here. Their Peruvian armadillo eggs are one of the best thing I've ever eaten and order it every time no questions asked. Tacos are all great, it's just the spot to stop if u want Latin American food.”
“We had a fabulous dinner for my birthday! The food was outstanding and our server Kaci Clayton was even better than the food!! Kaci sang Happy Birthday to me when she brought out my carrot cake that was delicious! We will be going back and asking for Kaci for our server in the very near future! Thank you Kaci for making my birthday that much better!!”

“This turned out to be a beautiful place! It’s tucked into the new building on 8th and there’s tons of space to get coffee or a meal. I got brunch and it was very salty but otherwise good. The coffee is from Higher Grounds so it’s of course great! They’ve got a lot of local food and drink, check them out! You can buy local art from local artists too!”
“I love Ramen amd theirs is top notch. Very friendly employees and excellent service. They serve a large portion so there's enough for leftovers. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go ”
